I don't know if any of you are aware of the 2004 Anime, "Mermaid Melody Pichi Pichi Pitch (Pure)", but I read somewhere that Funimation was considering dubbing it. I am not completely sure of this because they might be just rumors. My guess is that after Funimation's trial with ADV Films (ADV Films dubbed mermaid melody but they dropped everything because they shut down). Funimation is going to trial on October 5th, and their trial is to take the licenses of ADV films and such. My question is: Is Funimation going to dub Mermaid Melody after trial /before trial/at all? I Love Mermaid Melody, and I wish that Funimation would Dub mermaid melody. I think Luci Christian should voice lucia

As for your first question Funimation has never licensed or had anything to do with Mermaid Melody nor do they have any information on acquiring for a future release. The anime itself is extremely risky, it's a long running series at 91 episodes about magical girls which have sold extremely poorly in the US, since no one has touched it since ADV went under it will likely never come out in America.
