Ok maybe this is my only pet peeve. Drives me up the wall to have to read a bunch of bulletins to see what may or may not be coming out in the future. Theres a list of things schedule to come out with only 1 months foresight. What about doing a similar list of pending animes funi are trying to get into the future for the year or 6 month periods. Or is there no future thought going on that far into the future? That list would only say things that may be coming in the future but doesnt set it in stone. Maybe that would be a way to figure out what people want to see more of down the line! Cause gods knows i would like to see 2nd seasons to some of the animes that come out. As much as everyone loves watching the donkey follow the carrot on a stick. (donkey = General public)(Carrot on a stick = Funimation)
P.S. Im sure i come come out sounding crude, but im just a person tossing the ideas out there. Its hard to sell my ideas with out the props. LOL sorry for sounding like a donkey!!

I don't think Funimation has ever or at least hardly ever mentioned a title they are "trying" to get, just ones they have got already.
The idea is, things are always in different steps of progress. To the points of being in production, to still being in talks for licensing. They can't be sure if they are going to get anything they are looking into, and certainly wouldn't want to be getting people's hopes up. For every one person who would understand that it isn't set in stone, there is 5 who would complain that Funimation isn't going to be getting it or is taking too long.
I would sort of like to know what titles Funimation completely refuses to get, or is unable to do so for whatever reasons. Would certainly help people know to stop asking about them.

Putting aside what ShadowFalls said, people already complain about the delay between announcement and release.

Plus it is not a good idea for FUNi to said what shows they are trying to get, for it would give their competition a chance in swoop in and get said show or increase the license fee(s).
What everybody else said + our release schedule is only set in stone for the next three months. We do schedule things further out (we have stuff scheduled through 2014), but the schedule is more likely to change the further out you go and we have unannounced titles on the schedule as well.
I believe there is a thread elsewhere on the forum that lists the status of all of our unreleased titles and when they are likely to be released.

Ok i looked and found that there is a forum for things being released, but still think there should be some place better for it, then hidden away in the thousand topic forums section. Feels like im trying to find the FINE PRINT in the mortgage papers. What else is hidden in the forums i wonder???
