Are the included episodes only half of the published series? Because I see there is also a part 2 that will be available soon. I swear this particular anime defines cliffhangers!

Yes. Part 1 includes episodes 1-13, while part 2 covers 14-25.
Both parts will be available for sale at the same time (April 17th).
