I think they are both too hard on each other. Yuno's has unrealistic expectations (like Yuki not having any other friends) and Yuki doesn't seem to quite grasp that Yuno is completely crazy.
You people would be cool with having her as a girlfriend?!? I understand the attraction to crazy women, but as the last poster pointed out she's murderously possessive and always wants to be alone with him. The relationship might be fun at first, but it would eventually become terrifying. Actually, I think the only reason he's still with her is that he's afraid for his life in both what she'd do to him and what the other diary holders would do to him without her protecting him.

I do agree with you. I never said that being in a relationship like that is a good idea, however episode 9 makes it out to be some big horrible thing. and he routinely makes it clear he does not like her and is with her for personal protection. now he is stark raving mad, however she does love him a ton and she actually does listen to him. which is why she doesn't go all crazy and kill everyone in existence. but it would be very scary I give you that.
Yukki isn't too harsh. Yuno's hitting her low point right now. She does get saner though.
Personally, I'd be more accepting of Yuno but them I'm okay with someone who's a little insane. Especially since I know why she's like this. No spoilers from me though other than, she does get better. Yukki will have to rely on her though, he hasn't accepted the need to be a brutal pragmatic killer yet.

It's interesting...He seems to be slowly falling in love with her, but he tries his hardest to tell himself that he doesn't love her. From what my friend's have been telling me he might really be in love ;p (no spoilers.)
Yes, she's insane. But I cant really blame her to be honest. everyone has a breaking point. although wanting him to have no friends and only be alone with him is scary to him, why is he complaining? he never had any friends to begin with. not to mention she is known as the most beautiful and popular girl in school. being "insanely" loyal is just a plus. I see why yuki would push her away in fear of his own life but i feel his stupidity due to the fact that she continues to risk her life over and over to protect him. if he thinks shes going to kill him thats his problem for being too paranoid. but if he keeps treating her badly she might get worse. if he stays with her maybe she will get better. he doesn't like looking on the bright side apparently. poor yuki... no actually i take that back, poor Yuno.
Yuki is a coward. He realizes that Yuno is insane, but he's too scared to take into account that she's not evil. While she lacks empathy towards anyone not named Yukiteru, she is his ally. He's too scared to realize that she'd never hurt him and she'd listen to him no matter what. He's not too hard on her. He's too stupid to realize how to use her to his advantage.
I can honestly say that I'm braver than him. I, a real, normal person, am braver than this protagonist. I'd be genre savvy enough to realize that if I treated her right, she'd be no problem. She had a problem with Yukiteru having friends because she was paranoid and obsessive. She was afraid that if he had friends, he'd forget about her and she'd be alone again. It's not exactly a big tearjerker, but in her messed up head, it was a real concern. If it were me, I'd just convince her that my friends were her friends too. That way, it wouldn't be me getting stolen from her so much as a mutual gain.

Yuno's yandere, it's kinda a part of it. And I think Yuno's crazyness is why Yuki doesn't wanna fall in love with her
It could be because she's clinically psychotic and murderously possessive. It wouldn't stop me, but I can understand Yukii's position.
Don't forget. Always, somewhere, someone is fighting for you.
As long as you remember Her, you are not alone.

I'm guessing you're not done watching Future Diary yet? Because he's not being paranoid,
