So while I was looking up info about the dub, I came across an article that said something about a new manga volume for Future Diary called Future Diary Redial (or Mirrai Nikki Redial) and also said that it would get an original anime DVD with a 25 minute episode. It's supposedly coming out some time in July and I was just wondering if this would mean anything for Funimation's release of the show. Anyone have any clue on whether or not this would be on the retail release? I was thinking that this could be why it hasn't been released yet, but what do you guys think? I'm just happy to know there'll be more Future Diary

Mirrai Nikki Redial?
It most definitely won't be if FUNi's release is before, or even within six months of, the Japanese release of this OAV. There hasn't been an official announcement for the North American release, though May has been unofficially stated in Otaku USA. I guess this could be the reason, but it depends on whether or not the person in charge of the property feels like holding off in anticipation of the special will be worth it.
