sorry but funi admited the first season had horrible sales so its very unlikely even impossible sorry mars i know how much you like it.
Same Goes for Shakugan no Shana... so why bother teasing us with a future release of that?
I'm still wagering that they dropped that along with Toaru Majutsu no Index... I'm currently betting that neither Shana nor Index will even see a teaser release by December 31,2011. If it isn't released then I officially call it. Unlicensed...
I really think that seasons 2 and 3 of Zero were just the same as Shana Season 2 (several times better than the first season.) Then again, Hayate didn't do that well in the U.S either... but could it be because it wasn't dubbed?... I still wonder.

and what suks even more is i wont know what happens. i absolutely refuse to watch subs just in case a dub version comes out. id rather watch it dubbed and i hate watching stuff twice cause i know wutll happen. but when it comes to these two shows. im seriously thinking of makin an exception. theyre just too great to pass up not knowing wut happens. every short anime wants me wanting more. now that thers an actual anime i luv out there with continuations it drives me nuts that they didnt dub it. i just wish theyed make them dubbed to make all thier fans happy. we can always dream tho right....
Uh, wasn't Shakugan no Shana a top seller for FUNimation? Plus, it's due to legal issues that's preventing the other seasons of that coming here.
Anyway, old topic, but since it was bumped, might as well flat out post it. FUNimation won't get more of the series, and lost the license due to poor sales. I can't get on ANN, (I'm having problems getting on it right now.), but there was an article stating this.
I liked the show but I dont mind the fact that it was cancelled cause the Japanese version isnt that bad unlike kodocha were the voices are werid and the subtitles are unclear and go to fast go to fast.
I liked both of them also but I think that the first season probably wasn't the best than the 2nd or 3rd season of familiar to zero but I guess I don't really care what funimation does with the series. But index that's not possible for them to drop since they had gotten the license for it no more than a year ago.
The english translations of the light novels would actually be good enough for me at this current time. To have the whole series on my bookshelf once Noboru Yamaguchi finishes with it would be a nice thing to have.
I'll have to remember to message the fellows at Seven Seas Entertainment to get back on that again once the final chapter is written.
