Re: Roku app episode reporting thread

As of 12/07/12, the Funimation and/or Floatleft Interactive tech support teams determined what caused some episodes to crash the Roku app. Email if there are still episodes that cause crashes, and they should be able to fix them.

I just sent an email regarding Ghost Hunt Ep1 (sub and dub), which still appeared to be problematic as of 12/08/12.

None of your shows seem to be working on Roku tonight. "Content not available" is the message we keep getting for shows, dubbed or subbed, appearing on your Roku menu. We've been trying for the past couple of hours or more. Please be sure to credit us somehow for missing our usual Funimation tonight, and let us know when you will be up and running again on Roku.

This is also happening to me. Everything comes back as "Content Currently Unavailable". on Roku.

I can load videos that I've saved into my queue, but none of those shows display when you enter through the show's icon. I makes me wish that I had loaded more items into my queue... crying tear

Re: Roku app episode reporting thread

I go into work at 3am and bust my ass and all I wanted to do was sit on my ass today and watch a certain magical index. I share the sentiment others have expressed, I want to support Funimation and other providers, I really do. They just make it really hard.

Re: Roku app episode reporting thread

I got a super fast reply from apparently the issue is fixed, however, the roku app only refreshes every 24 hours so whenever it was fixed it could be another 24 hours. Not a great solution but I am happy they responded so fast

"Content currently unavailable" is still appearing across the board this morning.
Hope it really does work again in 24 hours...
Thanks for the fixes and update....

I hope it is much less than 24 hours. I don't know when it was fixed or when the roku service does it update or refresh so maybe it will be soon

* now nothing works. A few series were working earlier and now it is totally dead. very disappointed

Re: Roku app episode reporting thread

The "Content Currently Unavailable" issue is still present as of 20:45 EST. New episodes seem to load fine, but it is not possible to access content using other menus. I plan to email tech support, though it appears others may have already. This is beyond lame.

Re: Roku app episode reporting thread

We're aware that there are currently (12/13) issues with the Roku player. We're currently working to resolve these issues, and we should have your Roku service operational as early as tomorrow morning.

In the meantime, you should be able to access EVS content from your desktop.

We apologize for the inconvenience, and hope to have you watching anime again shortly! wink

If you have any further discussion about this issue, could you please move it to the sticky thread that's recently been created, so that we can keep this thread for it's intended purpose of reporting issues with specific episodes? Thanks!
