Ok since a little after 6pm yesterday *Aug20* anytime I have gotten on the site this is what I see on EVERY page.

Its like this everywhere I go on the site. Even in the PM where for some reason I don't even get the text box to respond to the PMs I have received. Not sure if the ist es being worked on or what but its kinda, no, very bothersome.

It's certainly an annoyance when it happens, though I personally haven't come across the issue in a couple days. I haven't seen a workaround either, but I wonder if logging out and back in might do the trick.
Sophie brought this up in the Elite forum, or at least she said if you have an issue where "a page on the site is missing formatting and looks like we've gone back in time to HTML 1.0 days", apparently they are having a problem with their host and the varnish cache server needs to be reset each day to fix it. She said they have a "chron" (which I'm not familiar with as it is not something I've run into in VB or Oracle Database, which is all I have experience programming in) but I suspect it is some type of timer which she said resets the varnish cache server once each day. She then said to email if you have it happen because they can call their host to have it reset manually.

Well its fixed now and thats what really matter. Funny that things only seem to get fixed after I decided "I've had it" and post a thread.

Cron is a Linux/UNIX service that can execute commands at specified times. Not sure if this was a recent change, but if not, they may want to run it more than once a day.
I'll try to remember to email the webmaster if I ever notice again, but that seems like the kind of thread that should be available to the general public.
I've sent e-mails to the webmaster and it takes a couple of days for a response, if you get one at all.

I'm guessing the 503 I got around 11:55 was the Varnish server clearing and rebuilding it's cache for the website?
