As previously stated, the issues we are currently experiencing are NOT related to this ongoing issue.
The ongoing issue is resolved locally through the steps mentioned or further troubleshooting, but the current issue is on funimation.com's end and cannot be resolved by these steps.
To help prevent further confusion, and unnecessary user-end troubleshooting, I am locking this thread until we resolve the server-side issues.
If you are getting a blank player issue at this time, it's probably something troubleshootable. However, please do refresh a few times before you start trying the steps mentioned in this thread.
So...no support for 2 months of no service after subscribing? Thanks for unlocking the thread.
I'm testing from 3 different networks with > 30 meg throughput and entirely different browsers, OS, hardware, configs and still have the same QoS which I regret to inform you is still consistently sub par to every other streaming service I compared this too.
Cancelled. I'll keep trying the service now and then. Once it works at an acceptable level, I'll be happy to become a subscriber again.
Rerednaw - unfortunately, there was really no way to troubleshoot the Blank Player issue while it was a server-side issue, as there was nothing to troubleshoot on the user end during that time. Now that we have confirmed that the server-side issues have been resolved, at least, as they directly relate to this issue, we can start seeing about troubleshooting people who are still having the issue.
If you are still having issues with getting a blank player when you try to play EVS videos, and you have tried all the steps listed at the top of this thread (or need further assistance with them) please contact at this time.
If you have concerns about your EVS subscription, you may also wish to contact , though you can also receive account related help through webmaster, if you only want to send a single e-mail.
So, apparently, though not the exact same symptom, the video player has started to do "Get Flash Player" image (which I always get to pop up, but disappears almost always) and won't load any further. Tried it on a couple computers; same problem. Seems it started just recently, as it was fine earlier.
This is really frustrating, I'm going to be honest...
I'm also getting the blank player with "Get Flash Player" button, after mostly OK operation since the last major outage. Haven't made any changes whatsoever to ISP, browser, etc.
pretty much the same for me...was watching an anime just less then an hour ago fine when I clicked to watch the next episode I get the blank screen with the "get flash player" button...this happens in every web browser I've tried and on every anime I've tried (different series).
Same here, but mine has not worked all day. I was just watching last night fine. Tested flash player on another site and it works so that doesnt seem to be the problem. I also tried it with my brand new laptop and still got "get flash player." It only seems to be happening with this website.
I just subscribed and was super excited to be able to hopefully watch shows I wanted
Turns out your site is broken and Im disappointed
Im 0 for 3 as well, latest browsers, latest updates, no AVG, no Hamachi, no nothing all I get is a blackscreen

Been this way all weekend. Oddly enough I also just subscribed.
