There were a lot of characters in Summer Wars (even if most of them didn't do a whole lot), so here you can talk about your favorite ones.
For me there's the obvious answer of Kenji, he's just plain awesome, and barring his math skills, he reminds me a lot of myself. Beyond him though, I really liked Shota. He was an annoying guy, but in a charming way - though I wanted to smack him

when he took the ice. Luckily, Kazuma hit him for me first, LOL.
Oh, and of course I loved the grandma. She was an awesome character with a lot of presence.
I have to say I love the matriarch of the clan, she's got hutzpah, and you really see how that characteristic is seen in her children and their families.

Sakae's definitely the heart and driving force of the movie, so I can't not include her among my favorites. I also liked Kazuma and Mansuke.

i must say, I loved Love Machine. He was an awesome bad guy, and you know you've got yourself a great antagonist when they don't have to speak a single word.
Other than that, the Grandma comes second. She was so bad ass and stern. I also liked how everyone respected her, regardless of that being a Japanese custom or not.
