i seem to be unable to find the second season on JUST DVD as i do not have a blu-ray player i find the combo packs to be... needlessly thrifty as i cannot use the blu-ray discs, i personally think having it just on DVD would be nice especially considering i just bought the first season for $50, and would like to finish my collection.
got any hints for achieving this?
Just buy the combo pack (it has the DVDs) and do something with the BD like give them away, sell them or use them for coasters. You can also hold on to them until you get a BD player.
Just get the new Box Set soon - Eventually, you probably will have a Blu-Ray player (Prices come down over time) , and the picture quality is amazingly crisp.

Just get the combo pack. It is literally the exact same price as a full DvD-only set would be. To wit, the Panty and Stocking DvD-only release is 64.98 retail and the Spice and Wolf 2 Combo pack is, you guessed it, 64.98 retail.
