@Wonder hmmm... the question is how good is "Gunslinger Girl" ? I've been tempted, and if it's anything similar to what I've previously been watching then I might have to check it out. Also check out Blood+, and Phantom: Requiem for the Phantom. Blood+ isn't a FUNi dub, but rather a pretty bad dub from Sony, but the story definitely makes up for what some of the VA's lack in talent. And though S&W is my favorite series, Phantom is just incredible.
i usually prefer the subs but with spice and wolf it is dubs all the way Holo is the best character and her and lawrence are probably my favorite anime couple lol anticipation is a killer!!!
Agreed. Though, the VA for Lawrence is way over used by FUNi. He is a great voice actor but I have literally heard him in every FUNi dub i've watched so far. Corpse Princess, Spice and Wolf, Phantom, Eden of the East. His voice is so distinct that it's making me lose the feel for the character a little bit, mainly because I have watched all of these series after finishing S&W.
FUNi is really slow with this dub it seems, but that could just be me and my impatience, I tend to forget the script has to be translated, then studied, rehearsed, and recorded, then goes the editing with the audio and timing.
Not to mention they have the VA for Lawrence, once again, being used in both S&W II, and he is also in the Eden of the East (movie 2) which they have a license for now too, so it could depend on if they are doing one before the other, or maybe even both at once.
I know what u mean, I have to wait a while before i can watch a different anime with the same voice otherwise i dont feel like i get as much out of the show. that being said I do like his voice for Lawrence tho
I'm kind of the opposite. I like hearing the familiar voice even if it's on a different character. Plus I like to try to figure out which other animes I heard the voice actors in.
season 2 is english dubbed on here: http://beta.funimation.com/spice-and-wolf
nvm they have it listed but you cant watch it
i think they want to watch season 2 English dubbed
i cant wait to see season 2 English dubbed
i know, funimation tricked me
it was my first time on the new site and i saw season 2 episodes, and it says dub, but theres no watch button
i say theyll be here next month
I am still waiting as well...
I've been holding out on watching the season 2 sub because I know I will enjoy it dubbed much more.
Now go watch Gunslinger Girl or Claymore while you wait for S&W season 2 dub!

With that said, HURRY FUNI.
