The broadcast for "Spice and Wolf" ended a while ago. ={ this means there will be no more episodes, not in Japanese, English or whatever language you use. I'm sorry to bring this discussion to a close with this horrible news. i love this show and I'm sad to see it end.

huh are you talking about the spicy-wolf.com site and how when you go to that one page it says broadcasts are done or whatever.. I didn't really think much of it, i don't assume that its the end of the line
My point being i don't consider the two connected, unless something definitive is given, i wouldn't assume it is or is not over. Its just a big question mark.
However I will do research into the odds of animes continuing and stuff given that they haven't been made in like 2 plus years, I wouldn't write it off you just because.. there are probably lots of examples of animes coming back even after like 4 year breaks, such as ikkitousen aka battle vixens. (We don't really know if the spice and wolf anime is officially dead)
i agree with pity. You can never consider a series dead. For a we could know they may post a season 3 next week or in 10 years. All we can do is play the waiting game. And pity let me know the odds of your research when you get done. Kinda interested on the chance of this and plenty of other series have of going on. But yes just because the broadcast is over doesn't mean the series is. Well i hope it doesn't. XD
I may have to take back my original post, because when i checked out the English forms of the manga books, it seamed that the Anime series follows that. There were 4 main points in the 2 seasons and there are 4 volumes that follow those so one the 5th and 6th volumes come out in English then there might be a season 3. Sorry about the original post i didn't do my research on it fully
Addition to my last post... the 5th volume will come out on December 13, 2011 so new episodes might begin then, it might not. I have no way of telling but it might be the start of season 3.

When the village's very existence is threatened, will Lawrence and Holo be able to escape with any information about Yoitsu? Or, for that matter, their lives? ". Dose that seem familiar? This was on the Barns And Noble website. It has all 4 English books and there storyline. Anyways book 5 is a mystery to me in plot and i believe the anime series will use the book 5 and 6 on a season 3... (if there is going to be one)

I also posted a link somewhere in the past few pages with links to the unofficial versions of the first 4 books, read volume 4 for yourself, its definitely different from the second half of season 2's anime.
