And anyways, my whole point was that RavenTwoFive is mistaken. What I have been saying has nothing to do with season three. Perhaps if I had a deeper understanding of how animes get the green light for renewal and the success rate of shows getting a third season and other underlying issues in the business aspect, I could possibly shed some light on the subject. My lack of knowledge doesn't really lend a hand to help on the subject.
If there is no news of a season three by the end of this year, It seems unlikely that they would continue the anime, but thats just my speculation, i have seen a few animes that got their first season years ago then got a new season like 3-4 years later, but this does seem a little different. We also need to take the japan disaster into account.
Even though the spice and wolf 2 banner says its available 8-2, its really been pushed back to 8-30, that's really annoying. I could of swore it was supposed to be released in June or July before, so thats two pushbacks.. retarded.
and why do i keep finding txt w/ ppl saying the name *Jolo*? who is jolo? if you mean Horo, then its spelt H O L O. English terms and actuality. the Asians cant grasp the actual L that we English speakers use. idk y. but its in there tongue.
it was always suppose to be Holo from the beginning. i think. that or the English dubs got Horo's name sounding to close to Norah's name.

Jullian the Japanese language doesn't have a sound for the letter L, where other Asian languages might, but Japanese surely does not. So when translating Katakana which is the characters for foreign words and names, an L is often replaced with the R sound, which in Japanese sounds like a shortly pronounced D.
So Holo is written as ホロ which in japanese is "Horo" and in English can be written as either Horo or Holo, but Isuna Hasekura was intentionally writing this around medieval Europe, so Holo would 90% be the proper writing. Mainly because almost all European languages would not say something like "Hoe-row" (sounds like Scooby Doo when I think about it)
As for the "Jolo" thing, this could be the writing of a native Spanish speaker, in Spanish, H is a silent letter which at the beginning of a word makes no sound, and is usually only used in other cases as "ch". In Spanish the letter J makes the English "H" sound, so Jolo in Spanish would be pronounced "Holo". (This is also true when you look at a Spanish speaker typing a laugh, in English we type hahaha, Spanish speakers type jajaja)

And iv been wrighting in amarican the whole time not Japanese. I can understand them but cnt find the words to replys in there language. Has that ever happen to u?
And I never would be using the other launguage novels. Idk them

The whole Holo vs Horo debate should be over by this point, except that the rabid fan community can't seem to capitulate to reason. The author has stated that it is Holo, the official English translations of the novels, manga, and anime have the name as Holo, and in one scene in the 2nd season she signs a contract and, in the Japanese broadcast version, it clearly reads H o l o in untidy script.
Of course, this argument continues because people that don't speak Japanese as their native language insist that it couldn't be Holo because of the 'L'. Afterall, Rawrence and Chroe don't have any L's in them!
So.... Enough about the whole debate on the 'Horo, Holo" thingy! Any news about a third season? I've been very disappointed on the the pace of the production of this anime! I can't stand knowing that it may end with such a crappy ending in season two! D: Atop of that, the English novels don't even make it to season two I believe! >.< So were stuck, we don't have an anime to know the full journey of What's his face and Holo and the manga doesn't help in any bit! I can't live knowing such a wonderful story well never reach the western world... Good thing I'm taking Japanese reading and writing classes soon!

I'm sure there is, there are companies that do Spanish dubs and translate books from other languages just like English.
As for that, there are no L's in the song, whether the notes of the music make something sound like it is a possibility, Romaji and English translated lyrics.
