I though I would start up a manga discussion for the Soul Eater manga. On our latest chapter, Keishen Asura has awakened. Maka and Black Star get ready to fight it, and Death The Kid shows up and his power as a Grim Reaper has fully awakened, and we see Lord Death's mask start to crack.

But with Kid finally becoming a true reaper, Asuras gonna have his ass handed to him on a plate. If Crona appears again, he might fight Asura from the inside or something.
Yep, that's likely.

A new chapter of Soul Eater just came up. Death the Kid is currently battling Asura and... what's this? They're brothers!? How can that be!? At least that explains why they both have similar hair styles with stripes around them. Anyway, Asura tells Kid that he chose to infuse fear in others and called himself a copy of Lord Death himself. Kid says that this can't be the case and tells Asura that he hasn't felt any fear. Maka and Black Star join the fight and Black Star activates Tsubaki's Enchanted Sword mode in his assault on Asura. Asura then traps Black Star in a bind and then, BAM! Maka to the rescue. But her attack didn't work on Asura and he tried to launch a knife at Black Star... who caught it in his mouth. But it turned out to be a laser weapon. Turned out to be as effective as trying to attack Natsu from Fairy Tail with a flamethrower: Black Star launched the beam back at Asura from his mouth. Kid starts wondering about his dad's goals, but Black Star tells him to worry about it later and focus his attention on defeating Asura. It seems that ordinary attacks can't harm Asura and Kid reminds our heroes and us that Medusa injected him with her infamous "black blood." Does this mean Soul will have to use the black blood inside him? That demon seems to be tempting him to do so.

Have ya heard? Only 4 - 5 chapters (1 volume) left of Soul Eater... I hope the endings good. There around 30 pages in a chapter (sometimes less)... Hopefully the last chapter will be extra long, 60 page finisher or the endings gonna feel as rushed as hell. But, on the bright side at least the final battle won't drag on.
New chapter is up. Maka and Black Star continue to battle Asura and it seems like they are starting to win. Plus, Kid's third stripe is coming into full circle (no pun intended) and he's becoming a true Grim Reaper.

i ben reading the posts i have not read the manga but seen all the episodes 2 things number 1 some one posted somthing aboout crona fighting asura frome within please!!! tell me crona is not dead he my favorite number 2 telling frome the posts the manga is close to the same area of the anime and im wondering how menny of you think that funi will make brotherhood version of soul eater now the manga is reaching the same area as the anime soul eater must go on if funimation has the smallist sense of business and or loilty to the fans they will make a brotherhood version or new season of soul eater when the manga catchs up with the anime i literally know 30 people who have all seen soul eater and said with no exseptios thay all whant to see a new season or brotherhood version so if any funi employees see this you should know a soul eater continuation or do over should seriously be up for consideration i have not met one person yet online or otherwise who has seen soul eater and said they hated it
I think it remains to be seen if Crona's alive, but I think our heroes will succeed in saving him.

I recently got all caught up as well, and I have to say, I was surprised to see everything literally end up on the moon. I was surprised by Kid and Kishin's connection too. Can't wait to see how that all plays out, but I've got a bad feeling about what's going to happen to Death once Kid becomes a full Shinigami...
