Hello,
Just like my topic says, What is Simulcast? Where do you watch? I'm currently doing the free trail and like what funimation offers but I want to ensure I know everything before I think about paying to be an Elite a year.
Thank you

While simulcast aren't really affected with your Elite membership, they are the latest anime to air at Japan to come shortly to America by the looks of a company like FUNimation, Viz Media or CrunchyRoll. For a list of all FUNimation is simulcasting, see this link: http://www.funimation.com/videos/simulcast
Simulcast, a portmanteau abbreviation of "simultaneous broadcast", is when an anime series is streamed online with English subtitles shortly after originally airing on TV in Japan, usually on a per episode basis.
You can watch simulcast streams on any legal streaming website such as Crunchyroll, Niconico, Hulu or even Funimation.com.
Oyasumi, thread...
You know what would be a cool kind of simulcast? When an anime airs in Japan and in North America on the same day, and the American version would be English dubbed.
Fat chance of that ever happening, though.
@Zerk, that actually happened. Kurokami: The Animation back in like 2009 did that. Though it didn't turn out all that well, especially when it came to the Blu-ray release. To prevent reverse-importation, they had to make the BD's dubbed-only.
