Watched all the "last season" eps on their YouTube page for the show. Though there were some eps that were more miss than hits imo (maybe cuz it was quite some time that they had to get back into the swing of things) the last ep made me feel sad how it felt like they really did wanna wrap it up (why else would they break the 4th wall so much). I got a chance to meet the writers at a con last year (Jared Hedges, Joel Bergen and Alex Muniz) and they are some of the funniest guys I've ever met (which explains why the dub is so good lol) and I can tell you as an aspiring comedic writer myself, this dub's writing/style is most definitely an inspiration for my work. And despite all the elitist fans out there who only wanna watch subs and not dubs or think making this series more of a parody series than being 100% accurate with the translations is flat out unacceptable, uh I'm sorry but get over yourself and/or a sense of humor. In conclusion, thank you Funimation, although the writing/translations/characters deviated way off from how the show originally was, it didn't matter, cuz all that matters is being as entertaining as possible.

Maybe a movie or two they may dub (I.E Adult Empire Strikes Back, Adventures in Henderland), after that they will let their license to the show to expire.
Here's what I think Season 4 Part 4 be like:
- Shock Gahn Special, Lord of the Rings, or Case Closed Parody.
- Musae (Bitzi) Saga part 2 (if it gets treated the same way as just like Season 3)
- Masae's first appearance
- SD-era episodes in 4:3 pillarboxed format
- HD-era episodes in 16:9 widescreen format
- Miss Katz's heels caught in the sewer grate.
- Shin Chan and the gang's time travel and ruining his parent's first meeting (Back to the Future reference)
- Shinko's first appearance
- Another Shin/Nanako where Shin and Maso get a free balloon from the supermarket.
Let's hope Shin chan will be revived and get a Blu-ray treatment, that would be sweeeeeet! And also on iTunes too!

omg please..... i have purchased 2 copies of each part1 and part2 of seasons 1 2 and 3.
the last eps from season 3 made me seriously depressed too. shin chan was one of the only things that i could get lost in enough for life's crap to not affect me.
everything else is really crappy right now. and i know there are enough of us who miss shin to make it worth it for you ....
Still waiting for that illusive FUNimation post saying "Shin Ch4n's back!!!". I think they'll probably do a 4th season; Shin Chan seems to be the only show whereby FUNi writers can express their creative freedom.
On a good note, I've noticed that the Shin Chan page on this website has been updated. The episodes section has been tended to and corrected. This is open to interpretation, but I'm going with the one I like and that's that FUNimation are currently making a season 4 and have updated the page as a sneaky confirmation...Or not, they might have just fancied a virtual spring cleaning, but I like to be optimistic
Been doing my bit though, try this guys! If you have a 3DS, download Colors 3D and draw/trace pictures of Shin Chan then upload it to the online gallery provided. The application is fantastic and still relatively new, meaning everything uploaded gets quite a bit of attention. Just keep spamming the site/app with Shin Chan to help raise awareness (since FUNimation isn't bothering to ¬_¬).
A guy posted a comment on my YouTube video "Shin Chan - The Stalker Song (Lyrics, Pics, Links and Info)" saying that Season 4 is being translated as we speak, but refused to reply to my reply. Though what he said wasn't backed up by anything, it still offers a glimmer of hope. The video receives (on average) about 40 views a day, which is awesome as it shows that people are still interested in the great Shin Chan.
Thank you all for your continued support of Shin Chan, I hope that your efforts don't go to waste and that FUNimation understands the potential Shin Chan presents to the anime industry.
I also sent them an e-mail. My only worry is that the current fan base is too small to push for a new season. I hope Netflix views help to increase the number of fans.
Shin Chan is such an amazing show - it would be such a shame to see it end like this. Shin Chan is the show that introduced me to FUNimation. It is one of the few anime dubs that I feel can widely cater to a Western audience.
