so yeah i was watching season 3 part 2 and in the last episode they were like ohh this is the last season. and they were making jokes and i wasn't sure if they were joking or not so i was wondering if they were being serous or if they were kidding.

Hey I hate to tell you but this all rumors man. Anyway, if your rumor may be real or not, what's the worse it can happen, just wait and see if we are going to get an another fourth season of Shin chan or not.

Did you read the title of the last episode? "The Show Just Jumped The Kappa"? That could be one clue that the show is over. They probably aren't kidding. So there could be no chance that Shin Chan can get a fourth season. They probably may do a movie or two such as AESB, Henderland, Glorious Grilled Yakiniku Road, The Singing Bomb, etc. or just let the license expire as they did to Case Closed.
Otherwise there is possibly no guarantee for a fourth season. You could email them, but they'll probably reply back as a "no".

That was a joke written in before the DVD even started coming out, meaning they wouldn't have been able to determine whether to continue the series based on sales numbers. You shouldn't take it seriously.
If your a fan and want more Shin Chan. Write them and tell them to give us another season. I bought all seasons so far and will continue to buy future seasons.
