Just watched Episode 19! Another great epic episode!
The final battle between Shana and Yuji begins in this episode and we got some nice fighting.
I must say, I loved the little dialogue scene between Yuji and Sydonay in regards to "Handling Women!" For some reason, I just chuckled and smiled when I was watching that little scene. It's really too bad Yuji didn't have more scenes like these earlier on in the season with The Trinity.
I don't really get what Sydonay did when he threw his Shintetsu Nyoi spear through the middle of the tower, all the way to the bottom. I know Khamsin was trying to destroy the Tower so I don't get why Sydonay did this and what it stopped or prevented. Perhaps I need to go watch the episode again, even though I already watched it twice.
Kazumi summons Pheles and it was nice seeing her and her pretty cool OST back in the series. Pheles wanted Johann and she got him back it seems.
But Johann did something to the Reiji Maigo that now makes Yuji unable to use his "Detection" ability?? I don't remember what that ability was or the fact of Yuji even having something like that.
Oh and I'm so glad this episode clarified that random scene at the end of Episode 16 where those 3 Denizens were living normal lives in the countryside. It seems that female voice they heard was Pheles and she apparently asked for their help, which they accomplish in this latest episode. Interesting!
I have to say that Dantalion is just awesome! I kinda burst out laughing when his "One-Hit KO Ultimate Weapons" were being unleashed!
From the next episode previews, it seems the epic-ness is going to get higher! Oh and it seems like Ernest Frieder is very much alive and I guess he survived aganist Ribesal in Tokyo.
I wonder what Rofocale is going to ask of Ernest. I was wondering where he went after the Eternal Pit. Is he a protagonist or antagonist?
Shana and Yuji's battle gets underway and it's some pretty good fighting.
I did kinda feel for Shana, though, when she reacted to Yuji telling her the reason he couldn't be with her and going through those flashbacks of earlier points in the series. A storm of baka/idiot and even a punch to the face among her other attacks.
Yuji and Sydonay's remarks about 'handling women' was pretty funny. Hahaha!
Kazumi summons Pheles...and thankfully isn't killed in the process. That had me worried.
Pheles and Johann are reunited and that was heartwarming.
Johann even did something to sever Yuji's detection ability after talking with him. And now we see what purpose those denizens living in the countryside were contacted for. Talk about a smooth getaway and they even had Khamsin tag along.
Some great battles going on all around between the Denizen commanders and the other Flame Hazes as well.
That spear Sydonay threw was huge.
Kazumi is safe and Yuji and Shana resume their fight. Next week is looking even more awesome. I look forward to it. :D
Pretty good episode!!!! The War continues and it's getting more fierce!
I was a little confused with the scene between Frieder and Rofocale. Who is the Oracle and the God of Guidance??? That was just kinda random and out of the blue!
I liked the fighting between Shana and Yuji as usual. It seems like Yuji learned his own Unrestricted Spell, but it wasn't enough to stop Shana from hitting the World Egg.
However, it seems like Bel-Peol isn't concerned about anything. She says that no matter what they do now, it's pointless. I have a feeling that whatever Shana did to the Egg, it's not going to work out as she had planned.
Sydonay was pretty awesome in this episode. I liked seeing him use the Hydra and this time, the Hydra was huge too.
I also enjoyed seeing a little more of Eastedge, Westshore, and Southvalley. Looks like the fights with the higher-class Denizens will begin in next week's episode. I don't expect long fights, but I do hope we get to see a certain amount of each of those fights and especially it's conclusion.
I do hope this anime doesn't end up rushing this huge climax though. Next week is already going to be Episode 21 and if this anime is only going to be 24 episodes, that means the war has to end by the end of Episode 23 since I assume Episode 24 will be the closure episode to the series. 3 more episodes left of the war kinda feels like it's going to be rushed! I hope this won't happen!

Margery and Wilhelmina's convo was a pretty nice start. And I loved how the two aided Shana against Yuji and Sydonay.
I was a bit lost with the conversation with Rifocale and Frieder.
The fighting, as usual, was awesome. Just awesome. East-edge, WestShore, and SouthValley continue to really show their stuff here. :D
Khamsin continues to escort the Denizen group that's getting Kazumi away from the battlefield.
Bel Peol had rather ominous things to say. She said it's too late and nothing can change the outcome, regardless of what they do.
The fight between Shana and Yuji continues to be epic.
Yuji even unlocked his own Unrestricted Spell. Wow.
I have to admit that their clash is getting really exciting. :D
Though Yuji's Unrestricted Spell wasn't enough to stop Shana's own from hitting the World Egg...Bel Peol's words are making me think that hitting it won't be as big a victory for Shana as the ending of the episode portrayed.
All the same...Really looking forward to next week. It looks awesome. :D
Pardon the double post, but I saw the new episode. Some exciting stuff. :D
So Shana didn't destroy Xanadu. She merely changed it to add a new rule that humans cannot be on the Denizens' diet.
To that end, East-edge, WestShore, and SouthValley are killing all Denizens who have ever had a taste of people while Shana and Yuji/Snake of the Festival continue their own confrontation.
Meanwhile, Sale has a score to settle with his 'father,' Dantalion and is on the offensive against the Research tower.
The dream lake scene with Johann and Pheles with Kazumi was some very touching stuff.
And then we see Kazumi is still with the Hyakki Yakou and Khamsin trying to get away...just before they get caught in a nasty trap while trying to shake off their Denizen pursuers. [Well, the Hyakki Yakou members are Denizens themselves, but you know what I mean]
They go full speed up an incline and into the air....where they're put under massive enemy fire.
Shana and Yuji look in shock as the van is hit with so many blasts that it explodes in a fiery blaze.
....Talk about an unsettling cliffhanger. Had I not seen the preview, I'd have presumed Kazumi a casualty of war.
Things look to be getting even more interesting in the next episode. I look forward to it. [I noticed Hecate of the Trinity will be in it]
On that note, just three episodes left of this final season.
Man this episode was epic and this war just gets more epic with every episode!
Dantalion is awesome and I was kinda sad to see him die, but he got an epic death I must say and I liked how Seere defeated him and how because of an unforseen circumstance (The Hyakki Yakou disabling the transportation track), Dantalion couldn't escape from Seere's attack. LOL, I was just laughing and going "OHHHHH MAN!!!"
And it looks like Mammon is finally defeated as well, shot by Chiara's arrows. With Dantalion dead, that's 2 of the High-Class Denizens down. There's Ribesal, Pirsoyn, Haborym, Lerajie, and the guy in black left.
What happened to the other High-Class Denizen, Stolas????? Did the anime just completely forget about him???
Seems like Khamsin might die since he was in the middle of all Dantalion's robots exploding into the red black holes! I'm still hoping for more character deaths.
We finally get to see what Margery was doing in the tower before she joined in the fight. Interesting reveal on that and it seems like the Grand Order is screwed now since Yuji's last trump card failed.
Looks like Margery will fight Sydonay, which is awesome since I've wanted them to get rematch since the first season. I hope Wilhelmina will get to fight Bel-Peol. And of course, Shana is fighting Yuji.
I'm still a little sad that Hecate won't get to fight, but oh well.
Looking forward to the next episode, although with only 2 episodes left, I do hope the final battles won't be rushed! I wish the anime would extend the series by a couple of episodes, but I doubt they will.
At the end of Episode 17 when Kazumi agrees to accompany Yuji and they go onto the roof of the school, all of the Denizens are waiting for them up there.
Stolas is there, standing next to Mammon (the blonde hair Denizen)!
Unless Stolas is gonna appear and fight in the last 2 episodes, I think the anime completely forgot about him. That's pretty bad and it's very noticeable.
I'm not that upset about it cause he wasn't shown to be that strong or cool, but it urks me a little just knowing that they forgot about him.

Khamsin and the Hyakki Yakou did great with protecting Kazumi and those were some nifty spells.
The contractors of the Four Gods of Earth are fighting great as they have been these past episodes.
Kazumi and the Hyakki Yakou sure got in trouble for a bit when they got exposed....but then Wilhelmina comes in for an awesome save. :D
Sale and Chiara continue doing their thing...and Sale had a great trap in store for Dantalion. And thanks to the Hyakki Yakou deactivating the power source, it worked too and it seems Sale has done away with 'dad.' lol
And with that, Dantalion has been killed in action...due to a big explosion from his own robot. How ironic. Hahaha!
Chiara even took advantage of the distraction that provided to fatally injure Mammon...who proceeds to draw the robots to him before they explode so as to not allow them to harm the tower.
I liked the small dialogue between Shana and Wilhelmina and then between her and Margery. What she said to Margery about coming to like her as a friend was nice.
I'm worried about Khamsin, though. He was caught in the middle of a flurry of those robots exploding.
Snake of the Festival declares that it isn't over. He still has the Trinity on his side....and then we see just what Margery was doing in the tower. That was a great revelation to show that she sabotaged their backup.
Looks like all that's left now is to duke it out now that Yuji's final trump card has failed.
So we have Margery fighting Sydonay...which is awesome. I've kinda hoped for a rematch between those two that goes back to the first season.
And Shana will, of course, fight Yuji for this final clash....which she has been, but now all cards are on the table.
Two episodes left and it looks like it'll be 'game, set, match' next time.
Just watched Episode 23! I have slight mixed feelings about the general outcome!
I know this series isn't all about the action, but it disappointed me that hardly any of the protagonists and antagonists got killed. I'm disappointed about this more than anything.
And yeah, I know Bel-Peol was the tactician of Bal Masque, but she was one of the Trinity and she can fight. I wanted to see her at least fight a little since it was the final battle of the series. Bel-Peol did fight aganist Wilhelmina at the end of the first season and she kicked Wilhelmina's ass if I'm not mistaken.
Don't get me wrong, I like the story and how it turned out in this episode and I had a feeling it was gonna turn out this way, but I just wish their were more major casualities on both sides before it was over.
Oh well, looks like next week will be the final battles: Shana vs. Yuji and Margery vs. Sydonay. Looking forward to this and I hope it's good.
The previews didn't state that the next episode is the last one so I assume the series will go 25 or 26 episodes. I guess we'll have to wait and see next week.
