This just in I was reading a thing online about sgt frog and they said that funimation is currently licensing season 4!!!! Cant wait I think it will be out for the holidays I Cant wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Since there is no reference link about season 4, it is fake/unconfirmed.

They will be at A-Kon, so keep an eye on that convention who knows what they will announce there.

Hoping for an update! I figured they bought the rights to US season 4, when they bought the rights from Japan Season 4.
Is it even possible to the rights to half a season, seams odd at best.
the reception of the official dub was very positive. On February 19, 2011, Funimation announced at Katsucon that they had licensed more episodes of Sgt. Frog.[13]
Currently, Funimation is still trying to obtain the rights for licensing a fourth season of the show.
