Two important points: First, the Japanese make the anime, not Funimation, so the occurrence of English dubbing or lack of it has nothing to do with a new season being made. Second, it doesn't necessarily take that long. Some dubs are produced in less time. Part of what affects the time is how quickly the Japanese approve things and send necessary materials.
And yes, we NEED more seasons. I'm not willing to settle for just 3. I say franchise this show like Ikki-Tousen or Queen's Blade! (It's better in several ways than those series in my opinion.)

I agree with Richard, we need more than just three seasons of this, the manga speaks of more than three stages, (wiki says seven if I'm not mistaken) and seeing how we barely cover even three in the first two seasons, I'm hoping we have a way to go through the series. Still patience is going to play a big part here, though its really hard when you really like a series...
