I just thought that I'd start off the first topic here with a very basic topic. Who is your favorite character and why?
Kikuchiyo is my favorite because of his development in the series, his heart of gold and hilarious nature.

In the image at the top of the page, the one with the greenish hair is a favorite of mine.

My favorites were definitely Kikuchiyo and...um...the Greg Ayres one. Both were great warriors with a sense of humor, something I always enjoy.

"There are two kinds of folks who sit around thinking about how to kill people. Psychopaths, and mystery writers. I'm the kind that pays better."
Having seen this an the film Seven Samurai that this is based on it is hard to choose a favorite. I like Kikuchiyo better in Samurai 7 along with Kyuzo. For not I will go with Hayashida Heihachi since he is always smiling.
Kanbei was my favorite. His mature, collected nature makes him the ideal samurai, and I respect that.
Eat well.
I like Heihachi, and I love that he carries a weather charm around with him.

Kyuzo, for the badass factor alone. ^^
Heihachi was my favourite Samurai. He could see so much more about life than the others. Or at least he could see it right away.
But someone that I like equally as much(maybe even more) as Heihachi, is, believe it or not, Ukyo. I'm not sure if I'm the only one or not, but I've always been a big fan of the bad guys, and this man is EVIL. He quite a developed character, so that makes him ever better.

My favourite is definitely Kyuzo, because he's quiet and mysterious, and he has the coolest fighting style out of the group.
Kikuchiyo because he's good at slicing with his saw sword and is voiced by Chris Sabat!

Ever notice how the leader guy looks just like The Count of Monte Cristo?
And they are both really wise and powerful, yet regretful of their past? ( And both based on heroes from earlier literature, but in space?)
( Gankutsuoh ending spoiler. You should watch the whole thing first! )
But I guess it makes sense, because it's by the same Gonzo team.
These two anime are both excellent.
I'm going to finish watching Samurai 7 now...
"Bide your time and hold out hope!" - Gankutsuoh ...that we get SPICE AND WOLF SEASON 3! ( and Monte Cristo on Blu Ray. )
