Let's talk about Rumbling Hearts.
Rumbling Hearts is my favorite anime. It just ended wrong for me. I was a little upset, i'll admit that Mitsuki pissed me off by seducing Takayuki. She clearly like him. She shouldn't have Haruka and him hook up if she she knew that she like him. Because after the accident, Mitsuki won Takayuki over getting herself naked infront of him. I wanted Haruka and Takayuki to end to up together at the end. But it's all good. The series was still very good and sad.
That ending is what ruined the show for me, really. I wanted to like it more than I did (especially for the humor with the two waitress characters), but that ending...gah. It was more realistic I suppose, since he'd gotten to know Mitsuki so much better than he ever had Haruka, but I wanted the fairy tale ending.

The ending didn't bother me. If he didn't have Mitsuki to care for him during his sadness, he could have just continued to be in that miserable state, or maybe he could also just commit suicide. I'm sure that kind of ending would have made people plenty happy right?
If you were him and you blamed yourself for the accident that it wears down your mind and mental well-being, would you be able to wake up everyday, go to the woman's bedside and want to be together forever? I do believe that there are people who could be like that, but it would be too hard if you blame yourself.
I'm sure there was an OVA that showed what would happen or what did happen should Takayuki decide to be with Haruka instead of Mitsuki, so be happy that there was an alternative for the people that wanted Takayuki and Haruka to be together.
This was a great anime. It was full of emotions that moved me. It was obvious to me that Takayuki had feelings for Mitsuki from the start but didn't want to hurt Haruka when she asked him to go out with her. But Takayuki's personality is that he has a hard time making up his mind and doesn't like to hurt people around him.
When Haruka and Takayuki were walking back home, he was going to ask her to the movies and it didn't work, his friends confronted him in not having his heart fully committed, Takayuki ran from them because of his feelings for Mitsuki and him having second thoughts about Haruka and wanting to back away from them going out together. But slowly Haruka was growing on him and Mitsuki saw that she was going to loose him. So when ever Mitsuki accidentally met Takayuki, she always took advantage of that time to spend some quality time with him.
I agree that Mitsuki getting naked with Takayuki was excessive, but she wanted to "close the deal" with her love confession to him. I also agree that she shouldn't have encouraged him to play the role of boyfriend to Hakura after she woke up. But she wanted to see how he would react and if he would eventually stay by her side instead of Haruka's.
The fact that Shinji didn't use his senses to not sleep with Mitsuki, well, that really pissed me off. I thought they would've made him the great guy that saves the day and that listens to his right mind.
I felt that there was something missing at the end. I would've liked to see Takayuki and Mitsuki with a child meet Haruka and her sister in the restaurant and then go there separate ways knowing that everything is fine now. They don't say if Takayuki and Mitsuki are still together...who was Haruka smile back at at the end beside the tree? Us or Takayuki meeting her there!!!
All in all, this is a 5/5 anime for me!
P.S. : Episode 7 & 8 aren't working. It says "Stream Not Found"! Sub or Dub!
In my opinion, it was such a great anime!! I understand that there were some that didn't like it because of the way it end, but it was still a great series! I actually liked the fact that Mitsuki and Takayuki ended up together. It just seemed right for me. Other than that, I completely agree with Zurkx

I think that he should of chose haruka, but other than that great, i agree with zurkx, i mean he promised he would never see her again, couldnt they all just stay friends like at school, and i would of also prefered it if there were more school episode explaining mitsuki's love for takayuki, if she loved him so much she would of stopped haruka
and also will they be making season 2 or is that the end

ah ok, thanks, i watched the 4 episode ova and it was good, i would of liked them to make a ova virsion of what would happen if haruka never got hit by the car?
Btw at the end when shes reading haruka's book, whats it about exactly
