Not to be rude but can we please do some research on threads before making one. This topic has been mades at least 2 or 3 other times now. Please try to keep the numbner of repeat threads down to a minimum please.

As for a Season 3 of R+V I wouldn't count on one being made.

Pretty much what Dragono said. Not to sound rude, but there is already a general anime questions & anime reccomindatins thread sticiked at the top of the anime forums page...rather hard to miss, unless your just not looking.
As for the topic of your disscussion, Funimation has no control over how many or how few seasons an anime has, that is up to the studios in Japan. And Rosario+Vampire currently has no more seasons in production. Which may be for the best, Gonzo did a horrid job with the anime adaption, deluding characters personalities, skipping story-arcs, oodles of added ecchi content, bleh, way to go & take a good thing and make it yet another genaric piece of Otaku bait Gonzo.
Anywho the manga is FAR better, it is currently avalible in the states through VIZ media, I would highly reccomend picking it up.
Also sorry if I sounded harsh towards the anime, it wasnt all bad, the 1st season was watchable, and I did like the series music...but for me, as someone who had read the manga 1st...I found it highly dissapointing overall...well mostly capu (season) 2...how dare it have such an epic opening like Discoteique, and then have such poorly written content.... DARN THE GONZO...DARN THE TO THEE INFERNAL REALM OF HADES!!!!
But yes, to make a long story short, there will be no season three, and please direct all your anime releated questions to the General Anime Questions & General Anime Reccomindations threads from now on.

A petition for a niche anime by a fan from another country has a very VERY low chance of accomplishing anything.
Not trying to sound rude, but yeah petitions seldomly do anything, especially when it comes to televised media, if you want more of a show the best way to vote is with your wallet.
However as Rosario+Vampire was not a huge success for Gonzo, odds are even if it does sell well in the states there would not be a third season as it did not do that well in Japan.
Your best bet is to just continue purchasing the manga from VIZ, and hope that someday maybe somebody like SHAFT or what not pulls a Negima!? and makes an adaption that actually does the series justice.
Cause, not to insult the fans of the anime adaption, but it was pretty dang sub-par overall compared to the manga its was based off of.

I agree with you all. The series is lacking but you also look at the restraints that a show gets. If you were to go by the manga you are already looking at 2 seasons and ur just barely scratching the surface. I have started reading the manga and it is AMAZING.... i love it...I wish another studio (someone who does things a lil darker) (kinda how dark horse took over the batman series and made it dark) I would love to see this grow more and even if you were to go into the story of Tsukune going ghoul. i read up on it and it sounds BADASS. Just reading the whole story about it and what happens and the bracelet he gets to keep him in check is just awesome. You kinda of get the vibe that in the show but they side track it

I like dark animes as much as the next. Ive read the manga and enjoy it but would I say its better, not really. Both are good in their own way. Its almost like two totally different stories. Most of the animes I own are either action, fighting, or gore. I saw this show on a whim and got hooked. I wouldnt change a thing. I personally hope they do make more seasons, and you never know, if something does get popular enough, gonzo would be foolish not to make more. If you like the manga but dont like the show thats great. Stick to the manga. For the rest of us just keep buying the merchandise and show support for this amazing show.
