1. There is already a general anime questions thread
2. Funimation does not make anime, the companies in Japan do
3. Your like the 50th person to make a thread like this.
4. No there will (thankfully) be no 3rd season. I would recommend picking up the original Rosario+vampire manga, its much better, imo and goes farther with the story then the animated adoption. It's avalible in the us as well.
2. Funimation does not make anime, the companies in Japan do
The poster never suggested that they made the anime. Asking an anime licensing company if there will be more of an anime isn't wrong: it's entirely possible that Funimation might know more about the production side of things than other fans would, especially given they've had a lot of dealings with Gonzo over the years.
We should cut fans showing their love for the anime some slack. I know you're not too fond of it but the multitude of "Season 3 please!" threads does suggest others like it a pretty good bit. (Though I'm kinda tired of moving these threads around. )
It's important to remember that many posters are young teens and with the de-emphasis on proper writing technique in many public schools, many of them will not know the best ways to write posts when they first start posting.
It's best to give fans a chance to grow in love for anime and in writing skill naturally. The only posts that really need a direct complaint are all-caps (screamers) or demanding idiot posts. But we have ways of dealing with those posts.

WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT. lol jk you know i don't do that unless something pisses me off, so like i said a million times with other shows, they need to stop ending them like that and make another season, come on this is a very good show and it should have a good fan base in japan. and soundmonkey44 you can be an ass sometimes man. i noticed when you don't like something you bag on it, yeah usually the animes aren't as good as the manga but animes aren't always going to go into depth like the manga, I think you should know that if you ever watched movies that came from books.

Hey frodo don't think you can get away that easy with that damn ring.
I know that I'm late on this but if somebody would read this I'd appreciate it. Richard J. I'm sorry if you have to move this. It just can't end the way it did in the anime if it's finished! If you're going to end an anime early at least make a final episode to wrap up what happens afterwards. I'm not saying that there needs to be a whole nother season or two (not saying I wouldn't mind that )but at least an episode where it all calms down and goes back to normal (more or less.) I realize that Funimation doesn't make anime they just sub and, or dub anime but you have more say to the companies making the anime if they should continue or not with the anime. Soundmonkey44 I do see that the manga does go more in depth than the anime and I don't dislike it at all but you need to look at both sides of the spectrum. There are those who enjoy to read and think about what they see and then there are those who enjoy to watch events unfold and not give much mind to figuring out what happened. If maybe Funimation could put in a word to Gonzo or whoever for season 3 I'm sure that millions of Rosario + Vampire fans would much appreciate it. Even if if wasn't subbed or dubbed, just the fact that there is a season 3 would be a major sigh of relief.
Sincerely,
Joseph Schmidt
P.S. What was that I read about improper writing technique. hmm

If you don't like it, don't comment. Like the saying goes: "If you can't say anything nice, than don't say anything.".
Many people are fans of the anime, so many people would like to see a 3rd season.
Hi there, just joined the site here in search of information as to if there was any news about the possible season 3 of R+V. If anyone has heard any word(either yey or nay) I'm sure us fans would greatly like to hear it. Thanks for reading!
Soundmonkey 44, quite being such an ass! I joined just so I can say "I want a third season!" The show is an exquisite combo of romance, comedie, Action/Adventure, and ass kicking fantasy. SO SHUT THE HELL UP IF YOU NOTHING GOOD TO SAY!!!

First, I am new to this site, I just joined to be able to find out about various anime (including Rosario + Vampire).
Second, I understand that the manga is more in depth. Books normally are better than their corresponding movies/shows.
Third, does Funimation make money off of the manga? Serious question, because if they don't then you should be hoping that they produce another season of Rosario + Vampire, even if you don't watch it, because that will help their profits and allow them to continue to make the shows that you actually like.
That's just my opinion, take it for what it's worth.
