Re: Rosario + Vampire: Season 3 or Alternate Retelling Discussion
dear funimation,
A friend of mine says that you and Ganzo have already making a rosario vampire capu 3 i only ask two things from you okay.
1.while you are making the capu 3 can you please start making subtitles and practically just put it on secure websites so that people dont start taking the videos for free and start to also put the videos into other languages?
2.please dont just start to make episodes that dont really have to do with the mangas and try to actually show the other sisters of moka please?
Re: Rosario + Vampire: Season 3 or Alternate Retelling Discussion
Gonzo has still not fully recovered from the tsunami of 2011. They will most likely be putting what effort they can into producing newer titles right now. There is little chance, if any, that there will even be an announcement of a 3rd season made in 2013. At this point I can say with confidence that everything found on the net of a 3rd season is pure speculation and rumor.
Re: Rosario + Vampire: Season 3 or Alternate Retelling Discussion
It's been so long I just started watching the show and I love it's attracts my attention in a way I just can't describe and for the people asking this long it's a mistake not to continue the show when the fans been asking for it for 2 years I think at least post if they are Gona make a season 3 or not if they are make a trailor to get are hopes done but to have this many post we deserve a answer and I guarantee that this show was not a lost just look at how many people want it back and with the DVD money you know you ain't loosin money. (If any news come up please comment below or message me) thank you.

A season 3 of R+V will never happen, the 2nd season nearly put Gonzo (The creator of the series) into bankruptcy.so the show was a loss, just because people are asking for it,doesn't mean they're gonna do it.don't expect a new season cause Gonzo isn't gonna continue a series that nearly puts them out of business.
This link talks about them being delisted from the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
The last link talks about how they return to profitability.
It took them about about 2 years to recover,R+V season 2 wasn't the sole reason they almost went into bankruptcy.but i think Gonzo knows which animes weren't make the profit they expected, and i think R+V season 2 was one of them.so the chances of them working on a 3rd season are zip.they don't want to take a chance of repeating what they went through.plus,Gonzo's main audience is japan, the market outside of japan comes second.
the fans in NA asking for a 3rd season arn't gonna get it.anime is a business, that's the way it is.
Re: Rosario + Vampire: Season 3 or Alternate Retelling Discussion
Gonzo has started to post better earnings due to the release of titles such as Rosario Vampire to Western online streaming websites such as Netflix. The marketing of these products to western audiences has returned Gonzo to financial stability, and Gonzo has posted higher than expected profit margins.

The release of R+V in the west has nothing to do with Gonzo's better earnings.Gonzo doesn't even see a cent from a US release.you're just talking out of your ass.

thank you for your time.
Shall I answer?...
OK. Funimation does not make anime. The studio in japan does. They decide based on sales IN JAPAN!
From what is known today, there is no season 3 in the works or planned.
Sorry, but this has been discussed to death.
