Everybody that is saying "revamp the show to be more like the manga," or, "the show could have been so much better had they stayed more on track to the manga" obviously have no clue how life is. For example, I read every single lord of The Rings novel, including the hobbit, and guess what: they strayed a little from the plot. Harry Potter strays from the plot even though JK Rolling tries to offset that as much as possible. It happens. Not liking a show or movie as much because its different from the literature, is absurd. Look at everybody who has not read the manga, they love the show. Happens with the movies to. Reading the posts and seeing things like, "they didn't celebrate any holidays!" or "They never once celebrated anybodies birthday!" made me consider buffeting my cranium repeatedly against my desk. Are you serious?! You are upset because of silly insignificant things like that? Critiquing the show like that is uncalled for. Details such as those are best left out. Its like writing an essay. The more flourish you put into and the less raw information you put into it, the more points you loose. details are important, but meager ones like that are not. If you expect them to rewrite the show for you, then you need a reality check. Get real people. The show is fantastic. Out of the plethora of anime shows, this one is decent. There are some just plain stupid animes out there. Capu 3 will hopefully be released. If enough interest is given towards this, Gonzo and company are likely to make a new season and maybe so on. There are petition pages and everything trying to encourage a further run in the series. Given the shows popularity, I doubt they wont go on. Goodness, enough of this negative talk. Stop doubting and do something about it. And for crying out loud, stop being so damn picky. Enjoy what life offers you, or find something else to enjoy.

The 12th manga volume of Rosario+Vampire II is to be released in Japan on 02/04/2013. There is still no "official" word of a third season to the anime series as of yet and Gonzo has only officially listed 1 new project so far for 2013. The fact that there is still a lot of chatter on the net about this series makes me believe chances of a third season are still possible.
Here's to hoping Gonzo will make the right choice and add another season to the franchise.

Just because you see alot of chatter,doesn't mean a 3rd season is possible.the chances of Gonzo doing a season 3 is slim to nil.

Dood everything you said is understandable, but come on yeah the show is awesome, it's just that if they followed manga a little bit more it wouldn't hurt.the manga has wayy more action and doesn't make poor tsukune look like a baby! Read the manga ppl

So yeah I watched both Season 1 and 2 in about 4 days and I am about to die right now. I just finished the last episode about 30 minutes ago and am already starting to flip out from suspense. I have already started the manga (only just starting volume 2 of season 1) and so far I like it so hopefully it will keep me satisfied, but I still LOVE being able to actually watch the characters and see their emotions without having to pause after every picture and imagine them. Now about the manga vs. the anime: I don't get why this is such a huge deal. Yes they changed the plot line (now as I've said I haven't read it yet so when I do I may freak out just as much as you and if that is so, disregard everything I am about to say) but this way we get two versions of the show! So we don't have to read what we've already seen or vise versa. It will get confusing if they start continuing the show in a different path as the manga but thats beside the point. If you like one story better than the other then just stick with that story. Me? Im gonna watch the anime and read the manga and enjoy them both! I love the show. It has to be one of my favorites and I just can't stand the way they left the 2nd season! At least they finished that Arc of the story but still! We still don't know who he is gonna choose or what is going to happen next! I mean they finished the episode with the bus driver saying like "He must have real faith in that boy. Faith for him to lead (very much paraphrasing) a world of monsters and humans living together. And that world, is Yokai Academy." Are they going to start admitting more humans or what?! I don't care what story line they follow, I just want more of it. Also, another thing I have been thinking lately, is that if they did without the panty-shots and topless girls, they could have made this into franchise! Great story line, great characters, good action. Its a lovable show! I think it could have gone on as much as anime like Naruto have. I mean its on its like 600th episode?! I believe this show could have been that good. but oh well. I mean, I'm not gonna say I didn't enjoy the panty-shots, etc. xD But if that was the reason they stopped making them (because the ecchi-type anime don't sell near as well as other genres do) then I wouldn't mind them taking out most of the panties and boobs. *sigh* Alright I guess I am done... but what I really want, is a strong YES or NO from Gonzo! I don't want to be kept in the suspense anymore! It's keeping me from doing my work! If we get a yes then we can look forward to it without the stress and if it's a no then we can try to move on with our lives but either way I want an answer!! If anyone gets in contact with Gonzo or if they have the answer I am looking for then message me! I will be trying to stay updated with any information I can find and check back here periodically. We should just set a day for our calenders, then go to Gonzo all on the same day, and just start throwing money at them. That'll teach them....or just make them stop anime even more...but it is worth a try...right?

Ya if I'm not mistaken there has been rumors for like several years that a third season for the anime is coming out "soon." Not much gained from that except getting hopes up. I think the manga is still on going but that doesn't necessarily mean anything for the anime since the stories are so different, (both are good). I'm not getting my hopes up for a season 3 but hopefully the creators will see the demand for it and make a 3rd one, till then I'll just enjoy what is released and keep my fingers crossed for a season 3 anime.
