I don't get where any of this Gin hate is coming from. He was probably portrayed poorly by the anime because his Manga counterpart is a charming kindhearted guy

and butting into Akitsu and Bonkai's conversation, Moka's eldest sister is Akua Shuzen. She is extremely powerful and uses a Chinese kung-fu. She has a very evil demeanor and works with Fairytale.

She is shown stabbing some thugs through their skull to protect moka, so she has a thing with her much like Kokoa.
to me Gin seemed the same in both the manga and anime but i don't really hate him presay just dislike him along with Tsukune and Kokoa and few others it's just the annoying or their actions, but without them this series would be dull.

As you can see i like Moka alot from Rosario+Vampire but that's because she is cute and from one of my favorite animes of all time.
For me the worst character has to be Outer Moka. She has no real purpose but to destory Tsukune's amazing Harem which they all agreed to be in. She is too fragile and bubbly I guess. I enjoy Kokoa enough since she is used as a reaction to fanservice but she hasn't been fleshed out enough.
