Anime compared to the Manga

Well... I think we've all watched Rosario + Vampire, both seasons. Well, I enjoyed the show so much that I decided to start reading the manga smile . I didn't expect the manga and anime to be so different, I mean the show doesn't flow with the manga at all doh! . Everything was out of order and distorted. What I think should happen is they need to revamp the whole series, or at least get on track. I'm not going to release any spoilers, the last thing I want to do is ruin something for everyone, but those of you who've read the manga know exactly what I'm talking about, right? If the anime were to follow along closer to the manga, the series would've had more depth and definitely have more popularity. Anyone agree with me? woot

I completely agree with you. Altho I absolutely loved the anime with an undying passion & it was the first series to actually get me into both Anime & Manga & I thought it was very enjoyable & fun to watch, but, I wish it followed the Manga better. The Manga is absolutely amazing, don't get me wrong I love the Anime too & it is still my #1 Anime of all time, but it is no match for the Manga. Hopefully, when they make a 3rd season they will start to follow the Manga more closely, either that or they should just pull a FMA:BH on us, which is what me & a lot of other people would want. Nevertheless, I would be completely ok with a Capu3.

Yup, exactly. A third season wouldn't be bad, I enjoyed the anime thoroughly, and was a bit disappointed when it ended. If or until they decide to do so, I plan to follow the manga until it ends, which hopefully won't be anytime soon.

That has been exactly what I have been doing. I highly doubt the Manga will end anytime soon. I suppose the only thing we can do is just continue to support the Series & wait until something pops up.

Yup. Until then though I suppose we can make do with various other anime lol. I have a ton of shows that I can't wait to either get another season or eventually get dubbed. I'll definitely be keeping an eye out for another season and/or series of R+V.

They should have made tsunuke stronger and a bit less fan service that would be a great anime.

Re: Anime compared to the Manga

AKIHISHA IKEDA's Rosario+Vampire manga is one of the best of its genre, a modern Tenchi Muyo if you will, well written, well paced, and actually focuses on Story and character development over pointless fan service.

The Anime however is a steaming pile of drek aimed at the lowest common denominator of viewer, it takes out everything that made the manga great, deludes the characters personality, adds pointless fanservice and had horrid pacing, not to mention season/capu 2 didn't even try to adapt any material from the manga aside from the introduction of Kokoa. Now i'm fine with people doing there own thing with an adaption, but not when it turned out as generic, cliche & poor as R+V's did. In my Honest opinion the only thing GOOD about the anime was the music and the second op. Aside from that, more generic bottom of the barrel garbage. tongue

But the manga is darker i mean they could throw in some of the stuff from the manga but i truthfully think the anime is way better i tried reading it and got bored of the manga so much quicker i watched the anime and was hooked instantly.
So you got my vote on the anime. tongue

Re: Anime compared to the Manga

I had a idea make a new series without the fan sub cause the fan sub is annoying i wanted more of a darker story like what happens to Tsukune Aono they could do the same thing that they did with full metal alchemist brotherhood make it based off the manga :D that would be a very good idea don't you agree guys :D
