Noone knows much of Raphaels past, just that he was alive before the humans "christ" and that he was a king at a few points in his long, long life. And a wonderful, but treacherously cold hearted one; he led his people to glory and was a well known king, but he was never seen. You have probably read about him in your history books, for he was a person of many names, never taking on the same identity as the last, he became many people. Living many lives, meeting hundreds upon thousands of people and killing all of the humans as soon as they saw his person; he couldn't have a human knowing his identity could he?

One of the most well known names he was given was not one he named himself. The Grim Reaper, a character of unmentionable horror, the man in the long black cloak with long bone like fingers and a large silver sythe held in one hand, the creature with burning red coals for eyes that has come from Hell to collect the blood stained souls of murderers and rapists and criminals alike. Raphael was given this position by a young boy that had just happened to be passing by at the time of night that Raphael would go out and torture and dismember humans. On the night he was Labled the Grim Reaper, Raphael had been cutting up a human near an abandoned farm, wearing his usual attire of a long black cloak except at that moment he had his hood down, when he saw a large, beautiful sythe and decided to equire it, little did he know he would equire not just the sythe, but the title of a monster that would frighten children for years to come. Of course, the human was not killed at that time for if he was Raphael wouldn't have gained such a "nickname"; but Raphael never lets a human who has seen even him live and the boy was disembowled, but a few hours after he told the horrific story of the man in the long black cloak. But, even though the boy died, the story lived on and Raphael still gets a good laugh whenever he hears the name.

A few hundred years ago Raphael had a brilliant idea, he would throw a magnificent Masquerade Ball at a beautiful mansion every Halloween and make the entraprenuers of the Supernatural world attend it. This idea became reality and soon Raphael had bought a mansion in a large town north of the American border and was hand writting all of the invitations to the Ball; it went quick for he did not have to look up the names of different supernatural creatures because he had met them all, or their parents, at some point in his life and he never forgets a name or a face. A few hundred years later he still sends out invatations to the Masquerade Ball held in his beautiful mansion and supernatural kin still attend it, for if they don't, he will collect them, whether they like it or not. Fortunately he doesn't have to collect his guests very often for they usually attend because he will use certain "tricks" to make attending the Ball sound more "appealing" to the reader.
