Do you remember the War on Pants? Here's a link to the YouTube video from a while back to refresh your memory. That was a fun little choose your own adventure. Thankfully, enough of you voted that I live .... so here I am.
Well, the war on pants continues! Strike Witches Season 2 will be available on Blu-ray + DVD Combo on October 2nd.

Series Synopsis:
The lovely ladies of the 501st Joint Fighter Wing are back to battle a new breed of alien invader! The extraterrestrial menace known as the Neuroi have returned to Earth, and even a direct hit won't stop these monsters. The Strike Witches are Earth's last line of defense, but they'll have to learn some new tricks to survive this dogfight - and win the war on pants once and for all!

I know season 2 dub just came out, but I hope that they make a season 3. It's a great series and has much potential.
So from the little flap thingies this will be a blu ray sized chip board box. What of the ones who bought the original dvd sets? That won't fit in the box.
Damn it funimation, keep your sets consistent! The fans who went and bought the original dvd sets should not have to feel 'cheated' or left out at least by the size of the chip board box. You could have had the reissue with blu ray season 1 set in a standard box so at least the ones who spent good money on the dvd set can USE the chip board box this will come in.
Who is designing these things and why haven't they been fired?

Oh wow. FINALLY. I've had this thing pre-ordered since January 3rd when it was still scheduled for early March.
Is there still going to be an LE box that holds both seasons? How will that work with the original season's slim cases?

So wait i thought in season 1 they got rid of the enemy what are they fighting now and how are they going to get back together...... Can this be on netflix plz i really need to watch this
And I also gotta speak out against FUNi's "War On Pants" ad campaign: The Strike Witches anime is mainly about cute girls.
THEN these guys thought it was a good idea to show themselves without pants, and look freaking ridiculous by the way, in an effort to spread the word around.
Whoever did whatever powerful off-the-street drug(s) to come up with this idea needed to be fired back in the year 2000. Or, atleast, I'd fire [him] and, instead, feature the always awesome comedic banter between the English voice actresses of the anime.
Is it going to be uncensored? I'm just curious while waiting to watch the second season being english dubbed. Plus, I was wondering if Funimation is going to license the movie.
Wow i wasn't expecting it to have a Blu-ray with it to be honest. I'll be pre-ordering at some point before it comes out.
