I really wish Funimation didn't remove their shows from Colours TV. When I began watching a lot of anime, they had JUST taken the shows off
I would rather watch the shows on my tv because my parents think I am on the computer too much (because they don't know I'm usually watching anime), but watching it on Colours TV would be so much easier and better :|
I love FUNimation; my favorite dubbing company. And I adore all the voice actors who work for them
Easily, your post is the freshest on this noteworthy topic. I agree with your conclusions and anxiously look forward to your future updates. Saying thanks will not be sufficient, for the great lucidity in your writing. I'll immediately grab your rss feed to stay abreast of any updates. Good work and much success in your business efforts!
Why are their so many debt commercials on your channel. I think the main demographic for Funimation should be minors below the age of 21 who don't have access to credit cards yet. Or at least haven't built up thousands of dollars in debt yet!
I use hulu. I really like the streaming quality there and they have more than just anime. There are several shows I am watching there and it is nice to see what is new. I like to have DVDs of my favs though and can't wait until you come out with the set for Shikabane Hime in the US. Thankyou forgiving us many ways to watch your content. Dish used to show Funimation TV on the colors channel, but seems like they have not done so for a long time. Please continue to publish to Hulu and give Hulu links to the DVD sale if possible. That would be great!
Awww... thanks jackuon. We miss the podcast also.
i love the Funi video portal. so many shows, so many episodes, both dubbed and subbed, whole series or pre-purchase preview eps, great quality, special "theater lights out" mode, easy and pleasant layout, and best of all, FREE! i haven't really used hulu, but i think Funi is definitely better than Youtube and Joost.
i agree with the suggestion that it would be helpful to have a direct link to the next episode or recommended shows after watching a video on the player. also, i really miss watching the podcast Updates and Quickies, although this blog is a suitable replacement for news and humor. ;D keep up the great work, Funi!
I love using hulu. As Mitamaking said it has more then just anime and the player is awesome. I like how you can "dim" the lighting around the player. YouTube has a similar thing I've seen Bandai titles use. (I haven't checked out the FUNimation shows on there). You can also subscribe to shows and put them in queue to watch later. Awesome service.
FUNimation's video site is cool too. But I prefer hulu.
Hulu, great quality, and more than just anime. If I want to watch Shikabane Hime I can, and afterwards watch Chuck or Denpa Shonen. Hulu is the best video player on the web so don't feel too bad.
(Before I go to work.)
Online video players? I mainly use YouTube. The joke is that I nearly missed a title if it weren't for some "Character Does Something Whilst Unfitting Music Is Played" video. And sometimes, I'd go and watch a video or two at Funi.
I'm losing my trust with Crunchyroll, though. Ever since they decided to have that policy (a righteous policy, mind you) to remove all the user-uploaded videos and only feature those under terms created by their dealers. A lot of people weren't happy since their favorite anime titles will not be seen over there at ease. And I can't say "It sucks to be them" since one of them is a fellow LiveJournalist.
I also buy my anime I want to see, I have been very slowly watching Ouran on Funimation video. I have a high-definition tv and a blue-ray dvd player that supposed to up dvd to high-definition quality. The picture quality on my tv is awesome compared to my 21" computer monitor that was manufactured in 1998.
