Flower Mound, TX (May 21, 2011) - FUNimation(R) Entertainment today announced that it has acquired home entertainment, broadcast, digital, online and merchandise rights for the fantasy anime series “Is This A Zombie?” ( or "Kore Wa Zombie Desu Ka?") from Kadokawa.
Based on the light novel series of the same name by Shinichi Kimura, the 12-episode and OVA anime adaptation is produced by Studio Deen and directed by Takaomi Kanasaki ("Hellsing").
In "Is This A Zombie?", Aikawa Ayumu is a normal high school boy until the day he is killed by a serial killer and then revived by a necromancer named Eucliwood Hellscythe -- as a zombie!
FUNimation will release the series on DVD in 2012.

@joseleal Well, "Is This a Zombie" s2 just aired over the spring 2012 anime season, which is quite recent. I'd say sometime late this year it may come out. If you go on Rightstuf you'll see that Shana season 3 dub is available for pre-order already and that aired starting in fall 2011 until spring 2012. Funimation seems to be working hard and speeding up releases these days, so I believe it would be available either late 2013 or mid 2014 at the latest.
i hope Is this a zombie season 2 dub will come out.
