FUNimation content on Xbox Live and ZUNE

Of course you use your Xbox for gaming, but do you also use it to watch video content?  There's no lack of fun stuff available for you to download via Xbox Live and Zune marketplace, including more than a bit of FUNimation entertainment.

Did you know that you can download digital episodes of some of our most popular simulcasts of the season the day after they air on FUNimation.com?

That's right, you can get new episodes of Jormungand, Lupin the Third the Woman Called Fujiko Mine, and Eureka Seven: Astral Ocean the day after they stream on our site.  Just search for them in the Xbox Live/Zune marketplace.  If you get the season pass then you won't have to worry about downloading them each week, it'll be automatically delivered to you!

Are you watching any of these simulcasts?  What else would you like to see on Xbox Live/ZUNE?

funimation should have its own channel on xboxlive, and the EVS should work there as well as online. netflix does it, why cant funimation.

Yes please keep offering content through Xbox Live. I recently watched Heaven's Lost Property Forte from Xbox Live. I bought the first season on Blu-ray Disc and wanted to get the second season on BD as well. But when I found out it was only available on DVD I, was not even going to consider watching it in SD, let alone buying a DVD(which I stopped buying in 2005). So I was pleased when I found out I could purchase it in HD(1080P) on Xbox live. While not ideal when compared to the BD with it's pristine audio and video, at least it's a decent option. And much better than me never watching it which was going to be the case as long as it was only available in SD. Please keep offering this content on Xbox Live in HD as an alternative when the content is not available on BD.

As far as having to pay again, what does anyone expect for only paying $7.99 a month. You can watch it from your computer, all you can watch, each month for that price it's a great deal. You can also connect the PC to the TV as well. One HDMI cable is all that is needed for audio and video. But still not as convenient as watching directly from a 360. I don't know why anyone would expect that low, low price to cover all platforms. This is newer US content(and older) that is being offered. They can't just give it away. Well I think they basically do at only $7.99 a month.

Yeah, I agree with CalQL8 on that. That's why I am truly hoping the EVS is going to be accessible on the 2 major systems (PS3 and XBOX)soon so we can enjoy it on our t.v. over a computer chair. haha I would pay a little more for the EVS to see that happen. Also, from what i've seen you might as well buy the dvd's/blu-rays because it totals out to be close the same price one way or the other.

It's just my opinion, but I don't think its right you have to pay again to view Funimation content through Xbox Live/Zune that you are already paying monthly for with the Elite Video Subscription (EVS) on the Funimation website. If you have the EVS, you should be able to view the same Funimation content on any platform it is being offered on for no extra charge. You figure we are already paying $50 for a year subscription just to be on Xbox Live, and now we have to pay to see Funimation content with Microsoft Points we have to buy as well? Thanks, but no thanks, I will just stick to the EVS I already pay monthly for.
