UPDATE: Here are updated times for the "simulcast" series this week (subject to any catastrophic events).
Wednesday 2/9
9:00 AM – Hetalia: World Series - Episode 42
9:30 AM – Freezing - Episode 04
The delayed Fractale episode will actually be in the usual timeslot since Japan is taking a break on Fractale this week.
Thursday 2/10
10:45 AM – Fractale - Episode 04
Thursday 2/17
10:45 AM – Fractale - Episode 05
Sorry guys, but due to the snowpocalpyse causing power outages and shutting down the office last week, simulcasts have been delayed. The following series will launch new episodes this week on Wednesday, Feb. 9th.
Hetalia: World Series- Freezing
- Fractale
- One Piece (On Hulu)
Actual times are still iffy at the moment, so stay tuned for more info. At least the snow has melted and we're back in the office getting things straightened out. Why not commemorate this event with a fancy t-shirt?

@ Mitamaking:
I'm not questioning your seriousness here. I'm merely collecting names.
@Hectotane I am quite serious about it being like that in Florida, I wish I could prove this but once in my front yard their was a thunderstorm and in the back yard it was a sunny day, strangest thing I will ever see.
I lived in a narrow house two, navy housing you know.
I am also though quite shocked Funi doesn't outsource the simulcast like Crunchy seems to.
@ Rojas: As the saying goes, “Don’t like the weather? Just wait a minute!”
Okay. That's Texas, Nevada, and Florida. :|
You know... It's kinda sad how the self-proclaimed "anime leader of the R1 market" can't even set up a "mother nature proof" entertainment delivery system the Japanese use. We've been cussed out for supporting HorrorSubs et al, (changing my voice to Magneto here) "Yet You Are Weak Against Snopocalypse." So yeah.
To put it into better perspective about how the weather crippled Dallas/Ft Worth last week, here are a few interesting notes about us. DFW International Airport closed for the first time due to weather on Tuesday and was closed (and at a ground stop) for several hours. TxDOT had to borrow workers and equipment (TxDOT has very few Snow Plows) from surrounding areas, even as far as Amarillo. A total of 100+ workers were brought in (mainly because of the Super Bowl). TxDOT had enough MD-20 (Meltdown-20) compound to last until Wednesday Night/Thursday and were having more shipped in, they had pallets of Salt in storage though. Surrounding cities don't have MD-20 due to the cost, so they use mixtures containing 80-95% sand and the remaining salt. The only reason why they never used the pure Salt or mixtures containing more salt content until Friday is because it corrodes our concrete roadways and damages the bridges and vehicles. The City of Dallas doesn't own a single Snow Plow but plans on investing in at least one now. Cities without Snow Plows (most of North Texas cities) were using construction vehicles (Graders and anything that had a plow or shovel on the front) to clean the roads of ice and snow.
Basically, as the News has said, this was the worst Winter Storm to hit North Texas (and probably all of Texas) in over 20 years. If something like this happens every 20 years, Dallas/Ft Worth isn't going to pour money into Winter Weather equipment that hardly is used. Also, the real reason why some many News companies that were not based in North Texas made it seem like a bigger issue than it actually is was because of the Super Bowl.
@Rojas -that's Florida
Does Texas know about Rock Salt by now at least.
I never thought that I'll see snow in Texas, but I was proven wrong. One of those shirts would be might nifty to have.
Ah, Texas weather. Snow days were called for 7 inches with a wind chill of of 14 degrees. I don't miss that part. I liked the summers. You know when you got in to a car and that feeling of light-headedness and wanting to vomit sweeps over you? I miss that. I got heat stroke in two other states during the summer, but never in Texas. Oh Texas, how my heart yearns for you.
Yay for Fractale! It'll feel like two updates in a row rather than a late one. Thanks for the update, Rojas!
Around 70 degrees last Monday, down to 14 for the rest of the week, and back up to 60 today. As the saying goes, "Don't like the weather in Texas? Just wait a minute!"
Ah okay, sorry Rojas just surprised T-Shirts were made.
Here is pretty cool. They pretty much salt/grit the roads and with the near endless amounts of cars on the roads the roads pretty much become completely void of ice/snow. However the footpaths get the worst of the deal. Hated having to walk on Ice/Snow for ages. But hey that's the weather for you.
Seems you Texas guys got the snow whilst we're getting deadly winds haha.. Here pretty much everywhere has been shaking in the wind lately, huge freaking poles are swaying back and forth dangerously in places, fences are getting damaged/blown, bins are being blown back and forth, heck everythings getting a push from it all. Even smaller trees have been toppled.
Windpocalyse ftw
@Matt - Again, Dallas infrastructure isn't built to handle a week of snow and freezing temperatures. Given the history of weather for decades, it wouldn't be cost efficient to invest in anti-snowpocalypse equipment and materials. Plus, people here have no idea how to drive in snow or ice. It's pretty ridiculous how bad we are at it.
