The Selecao conspiracy continues in the feature-length Eden of the East: The King of Eden movie releasing on DVD and Blu-ray on April 26, 2011. To commemorate this momentous occasion, FUNimation and Anime News Network have teamed up for a contest worthy of the Air King himself. The Rules:
- Must be an original art piece created for the contest using characters and motifs from the series, Eden of the East
- Must include the Eden of the East and FUNimation logos somewhere in the artwork
- All types of art are acceptable, be it digital, marker, paint, mixed media, poetry, music, interpretive dance, street art or even cosplay. As long as it works in the logos and fits into the theme of Eden of the East and the King of Eden, we want to see it. Be creative!
- If you aren't an artist, you're not out of luck - one grand prize and three other winners will be chosen just for voting
- Image entries must be posted on an online image gallery such as DeviantArt, American Cosplay Paradise, etc... and must be in jpeg format no larger than 600 pixels wide and 800 pixels tall (600x800) and 300kb
- Video and sound entries must be posted on YouTube
- Other entry formats must be posted online somewhere they are publicly accessible
- Multiple entries are allowed
- Anime News Network reserves the right to, at its sole discretion, refuse any entry it deems vulgar, illegal, or contrary to the spirit of this contest
- Entries must be received before 23:59 (11:59 pm) eastern standard time on 2011-04-01 (April 01, 2011)
- Accepted entries will be posted on Anime News Network on 2011-04-11
- Registered ANN users will be invited to vote for their favorite entries, the two entries receiving the most votes will be declared the Grand Prize Winners
- A third grand prize winner will be selected by a panel of judges from FUNimation and Anime News Network
