Dragon Ball GT is coming to Nicktoons on January 16th at 7pm ET! Nicktoons will be starting with Episode 1 and running the first 5 episodes back-to-back with the title sequences and end credits removed as a special "movie" event. From there, Nicktoons will premiere two episodes per week (on Wednesdays and Thursdays) starting January 18th at 8pm ET.
Then on February 23rd they're going to slow it down to the scheduled broadcast of one episode per week on Thursdays at 8pm.

Have say I'm happy when any anime gets on t.v. . I'll support DBGT even though I think Dragon Ball is 100x better. Dragon Ball is even better than DBZ!
Thank God for no recasting. I'm sorry, I just did not like Colleen's Gohan voice. And about the whole confusing thing. I think that most of the fans watching Kai were the ones who watched the original DBZ. I'm glad they're playing GT. I didn't like Kai. It shortened everything, and there was recasting, which I'm always against. GT was okay in my opinion. I don't hate it like everyone else did, but I do hate the ending. They make Goku such a jerk at the end )':
On top of GT not really being that good... it wont even make a lot of sense seeing as Kai never goes over the Buu saga...
Why not the original Dragon Ball series? IMO it is infinitely more fun than GT. Heck, Toriyama practically admitted that GT isn't canon!
Then again, you'd have to recast Bulma and little Goku with Monica Rial's and Colleen Clinkenbeard's voices, for consistency's sake (and eardrums' sake, too)....
I find this pretty funny! I welcome the return of GT, but why Nicktoons? And why GT? I know Nickelodeon airs anime outside of the US (or at least not in San Diego), this seems odd. ANd isn't Nicktoons a digital cable channel? As in among 700+ channels that a lot of people can't afford or don't have the time to justify its cost? Anyway, I would've liked to see the return of GT on basic cable, rather than a place most won't see it.

17 have passed since Goku sacrificed himself in the battle against Cell. Apparently he came back but you guys will have to guess about how. Yeah last thing you heard was he didn't want to be wished back because he felt he was the cause of all the Earth's troubles.
