Thanksgiving is almost here (well, in the U.S. at least. Sorry, Canada) and to celebrate we thought we'd give thanks to Sengoku Basara, both of the seasons and the movie.
Now, if you've never seen Sengoku Basara, it's an anime that's all about being epic: horses with turbo engines, battle auras that cause nuclear explosions, and the most manly bonds of bromance you've ever squee-ed. So, this week, we're going to share some advice on how to make your holiday season a little more EXTREME--Sengoku Basara style! We'll get you started right now by sharing the totally metal trailer.
Thanksgiving, Sengoku-Style: Your Turn to Go Epic
Tomorrow is Thanksgiving and here at FUNimation we thought we’d find a way to give epic thanks to our epic fans! So we’re going to open up a special giveaway in honor of this month’s release of Sengoku Basara – The Last Party. This contest is open to both the U.S. and Canada! You have until Nov. 27th to enter.
How It Works:

What follows are five different things we think you guys are familiar with. We want you to submit to us at least one way to make them more “epic,” like we did with football. These five items are:

synopsis:

Ah! This would have been so much sweeter if Funimaton did a marathon type showing of both series I & II along with the movie from Wednesday, November 21st until Saturday or even better Monday so all the kiddies (and adult like me while on college school break), with Elite subscription of course; rather o not you allow Free subscribers would be up the gracious hearts at Funimation, have enough time to enjoy the series while waiting for that meal to be done or while on that long trip to grandma's house. Come on! You know that would a rocking idea that we could all be truly thankful for. ><
