Robotics;Notes A few points

First I do like the anime but I feel some of the Characters lack any depth like Kai or Subaru.

Second the explanations or clues as to what is going on is painfully slow.Sometimes it works but I dont think it is working with this series.

Third I am sorry but they just had to use September 11th didnt they. That just cheapens the anime.

How is that cheapening? From what was stated in the fourth episode, the Anemone incident had nothing to do with the World Trade Center attacks. September 11, 2010 wouldn't have been very long after the end of Steins;Gate.

I'm liking this series so far. The pacing is just right as far as I'm concerned, and for me it's too early to tell what characters lack depth since I'm only four episodes in and there's a lot more room for development. I like the setting most of all, it's an interesting take on a near-future that's plausible from a scientific and technological perspective. I completely took the Sept. 11 thing as a coincidence of time and space (and didn't think too much on it until it was mentioned here) and it didn't detract anything from my enjoyment of the show.

This show looks to be quite interesting. I like the near future/post disaster setting. The timing in 2046 'ish is just close enough to allow pretty accurate tech forcasting. I just love the augmented reality app Kai has on his phone! Imagine scoping your favorite cuitie with your phone camera and seeing a very exprssive neko-maido .. that scene was too much! Of course there's the obvious GIANT ROBOT trope. But, hey ... it's a Japnese anime for heavens sake. And now Airi, the Ai, shows up in episode 5. I can't wait to find out about her back story! Kai's character development is bound to be interesting too. Anyway, I'm sure I'll enjoy all the episodes to come.

I'm likeing the show. The NASA conspericy theory is interesting. Interested to see how these "Reports" will work into things. But I got to say I really don't like the older sister. She's too suspsious fo rme and how she keeps dodign talking to her little sis and calling the hard work they put into the Robo "piece of junk" is just irritating. Over all thouhg I have been enjoying this.
