In case you're not familiar with it, here's a synopsis of the series:

Nice guy Kio’s normal life gets turned upside down when he meets a friendly, sexy cat-alien named Eris! She’s on a peaceful mission – and she’s ready to play! Eureka Seven: Astral Ocean Launches on FUNimation.com

Eureka Seven: Astral Ocean episodes 1 and 2 will be available on FUNimation.com as of Thursday (tomorrow) at 10:00 am CT/11:00 am ET. New episodes will go live each Thursday at 10:00 am CT/11:00 am ET. Episodes will be available on Hulu a week after they launch on FUNimation.com.

For you digital fans, you'll be able to download Eureka Seven: Astral Ocean episodes the day after they launch on FUNimation.com via the Xbox Live/ZUNE and Sony Video Unlimited stores.

For those unfamiliar with this new simulcast, here's a synopsis:

The story is set on Okinawa's isolated island of Iwado, which has seen a growing movement advocating a return to an autonomous government. Ao Fukai, a 13-year-old boy with a missing father, lives on the island with an old doctor named Toshio and is about to enter middle school. Ao's mother was taken away a decade ago by unknown individuals. Naru Arata, Ao's 13-year-old childhood friend and the story's heroine, lives with her father, older sister, and grandmother. She has a "Yuta" power awakened within her due to an incident when she was young. A mysterious entity called "Secret" suddenly appears and launches an attack on the Scub Coral lifeform on the island. Ao launches a certain military FP called "Nirvash" aboard a Japanese military transport in his fervent desire to protect the island.

FUNimation Acquires Eureka 7: AO and King of Thorn

In case the release of this new movie is news to you, here's a short synopsis:

Fullmetal Alchemist: The Sacred Star of Milos, a new feature-length adventure into the world of an international anime sensation.

A fugitive alchemist with mysterious abilities leads the Elric brothers to a distant valley of slums inhabited by the Milos, a proud people struggling against bureaucratic exploitation. Ed and Al quickly find themselves in the middle of a rising rebellion, as the exiled Milos lash out against their oppressors. At the heart of the conflict is Julia, a young alchemist befriended by Alphonse. Wong Fu Weekend at FUNimation

"It's the end of the week, a Wong Fu week, it's Wong Fu Weekend!"

If you know that intro, then you'll know who these guys are. Wong Fu Productions stopped by the FUNimation office for a tour and some hilarious fun. They also got a chance to step into the booth and record some background voices for One Piece with ADR Director, Mike McFarland.
