Shinyas life is messed up because of what Shogo did to his partner.And what the art club girl did to that girl with Shogos help is horrifying.So the show now took a turn that was unexpected but good for the series.BTW tha was one cool arcade snack bar.

Kagari definitely wins "coolest apartment so far," even over Akane's sweet holographically-enhanced home, right? :D And he can cook- what a catch!
As for Shinya and Shogo, well, something's definitely up there. But I wonder if it's everything it appears to be on the surface or if there's a twist on the way?
(I'm not hinting at anything; I honestly don't know!)
