a couple of sequence that are confusing me, could someone explain

well as the title imply's, I was wondering if anyone could explain in the last episode where haughi takes up the rein of carriage

I dont understand that sequence, I dont really understand the flashback either
I have a rough idea, but not really sure

Could someone explain it to me ?

Hmm...sorry, but could you elaborate a little more please? I remember the carriage ride and some flashbacks in there, but I'm drawing a blank at what exactly in it could be weird. What about it exactly is throwing you off?

i guess I Don't get the flashback about haughi not being able to eat(about 13mins in) .I think that flashback is throwing me off, I don't understand what it means or what it is trying to say
