I'd imagine if he did write another series, what he would actually write about.. I mean One Piece is huge, for him to make another which would possibly be better..
Though no one knows if he'd write another series after One Piece is over in around 8 years or so.
Personally I don't think he'd make another Manga after One Piece, but heck, I don't know for sure XD

He probably will make more manga after One Piece is done, but he'll probably make much shorter series. However with his writing ability, it would be great.

But the success One Piece has brought thanks to Oda, he could retire after One Piece. BUT... I'd love to see him do shorter series if he ever intends to in the future.

Also I think people are actually underestimating how long the rest of One Piece will go for.
There's so much left to be resolved.
You've got the showdown with Coby and Helmeppo, the showdown with Smoker and Tashigi, The eventual visit to Elbaf for Usopp, the visit to the Wano country for Zoro, The fight between Mihawk and Zoro, presumably there'll be an arc for Doflamingo, The new whitebeard pirates, whatever happened to Moriah, Luffy meeting Dragon, and among other things, Raftel itself.
Plus there'll be new islands.
Considering that only 12 places (not including the islands Kuma sent the strawhats to) were visited in Paradise (Twin Capes, Whiskey Peak, Little Garden, Alabasta, Jaya, Skypiea, Long Ring Long Land, Water 7, Enies Lobby, Florian Triangle, Shabaody Archipelago, Marineford) in the manga, One Piece will likely go for longer than 8 years.

@CJVX, yup, Eiichiro Oda is a genius when it comes to writing.
If he wrote other series, they'd probably end up being better.

I'm sure Oda will keep going with manga, he's a talented writer and he's not even very old.

Oda said he's do shorter manga after One Piece.
Seeing how much money Oda makes, he has enough to buy his mansion or something.
There isn't enough room in Japan for mansions.
