I think it is very possible we will see a voyage later this year. (Though I am definitely not saying 'yey' or 'nay' to it). The reason that I think we could is that FUNimation probably has gotten the rights to it already, if they have, however they have to wait, to put out a press release saying that "Yes, we have the 4th season." Now because seasons 1-3 have already been dubbed, and I believe most if not all the voice actors are Texas based voice actors, getting them back is probably going to be very easy, they aren't going to have to audition all the voices. Pretty much it is going to be recording, and putting to DVD. They might change up the style a little bit as they did with the season before it, but even then I doubt something like that might take too long. If they do decide to give us a movie release, those would be the only thing that might take a little bit longer, because the nature of a movie takes longer than it does an episode. So if they only announce a movie, I wouldn't hold my breath for a release this year, maybe late this year early next year. If they got the season 4 releases I could defiantly see a release later this year.

I do think we will see a movie release, but if also another voyage for S4, then I think it'll be a Christmas release maybe? All depends how much time and effort they put into it.

Well if we go by what FUNi said at AnimeCentral when asked about One Piece season 4 license "and i quote" [ we haven't got around to it ] what the hell does that mean you've had four years to get around to it.
Yes they did say that they were in negotiations with Toei for more episodes and movie { unkown what ones there going for } but depending on how long that takes who knows and then if they do get the license they still have to translate the script then dub it and print it along process so i doubt there will be any new One Piece releases this year maybe mid 2012.
All we will see of One Piece this year are the 26 episode collection sets but i would love to be proven wrong

So your saying we have to wait till mid 2012!? That's a whole year from now. That's too long a wait! I am buying all of season 2 voyages of One Piece today on amazon.com so I hope that boosts sales!!!

Alright, I see this thread is going nowhere so I am making the choice to lock it. Lil Kis's question has been answered on the subject of when Funi will be getting season 4 with the answer that we don't know yet, all we know is that they are still in negotiations.
