Re: When will Funimation release One Piece Season 4?
Well we know that the longer it takes for an announcement, the further and further they are away from the series.

When will we learn more information about Season 4 being dubbed here? Does anyone know? I really wanna get season 4! I wanna start seeing that skelton guy that joins Luffy as one of his companions
Re: When will Funimation release One Piece Season 4?
We'll likely hear about it at one of the conventions coming up. It's pretty rare that a licensing announcement for a major series comes outside of one.
All the better for me since I need to catch up.
As for what the particular event you're referring to, it still has a way to go before we reach that point.

What is with wanting to get to Brook. Shouldn't you be trying to finish the OP sets that you have without the needless pre-swooning over a character hundreds of episodes away from where you are in the series.

Hahahaha, QFT. Besides the crewmate to actually show up in season 4 is Franky, so that's the one we should be looking forward to, not Brook. Back on the topic of why they haven't announced season 4 yet; is there some reason they haven't yet? Are they waiting for all the previous DVD sales to come in? Is Toei giving them the run around? Do we have another Detective Conan on our hands (which also had a long break between dubbing which ended with everyone getting butthurt)? You'd think FUNi would know by now that not telling the fans what's going on only results in everyone freaking out and thinking it's over which in turn results in people not buying sets since many people don't like buying a series they can't finish. A little tiny bit of offical info would be nice, if not just to give the loyal fans some piece of mind.
Re: When will Funimation release One Piece Season 4?
Well as someone who refuses to buy a filler set I can't say "yes" or "no" on that one, but the basis for the argument is that all of the season 3 episodes were dubbed years ago when FUNi first got the rights and no dubbing was done during the down time they had during this recent DVD release, which leads to the conclusion that they either don't have the rights to the next batch or something is up. With the other sets you knew in advance when the next one was coming out, but since S3P5 came out we still have no information on any releases after that, thus fueling the idea of them not releasing more. Basically it's a lack of information issue.
I still need to get all of season 3. I hope season 4 comes out i hear its the best
They haven't released it because they don't have the rights to it yet.
And I'd prefer my DVD releases to be once every 2 months instead of every 3 months, but it's not that big of a gap.
Currently watching: Berserk, Fairy Tail, Bleach, Naruto Shippuden, One Piece, Ghost in the Shell, Yugioh: Zexal, Yugioh GX, Gun X Sword
Currently playing: Final Fantasy IX

Did Season 3 voyage 5 end in a way that means there might not be more episodes to get dubbed?

No. The season 3 set from Funi didn't even end the filler arc.
