The latest episode was amazing. That last thing luffy said before the To Be Continued made me squeal with shock and delight. I wasn't expecting it, but i really hope it happens next episode.
I liked the four filler episodes, they were well-done enough. Of course there are some things I personally didn't like, such as Luffy becoming a giant, but that's okay, because all the other fights were done surprisingly well. No episode on the 30th, but on Jan. 6th we'll get started on the Punk Hazard arc, which should be good!
So the Punk Hazard arc looks like it could be interesting.
I liked the bit about the Wano country being mentioned, I've been waiting for it ever since Thriller Bark (by the way, the flashback with Ryuuma was cool, he was so well acted)
The rampant killing of every animal (Seakings, Dinosaurs, and now a Dragon) in the One Piece universe kind of leaves a sour taste in my mouth. I guess this it must be acceptable in japanese culture.

So... I dub this ep the Fanservice ep. Seriously, I was just waiting for Peter Griffin to come out and say, "Check out that side boob" other than that not much happened save for the ending
They did filler in the past, and it worked fine.
They don't even have to do any writing, there's plenty of material for them to use, like the journeys of Eneru, CP9, etc.
It's pathetic that Toei would try and drag the One Piece anime downhill like this.

Well now we're at a couple of weird episodes to promote the latest movie.
The episodes themselves are enjoyable enough I guess, I like seeing the crew's power in relation to a previously established powerhouse like Momonga.
