The episode was pretty good, things are finally starting to get interesting. There is however, a 1:1 conversion on episodes (1 episode per manga chapter), which is why the arcs also seem to start of slow, since it is a lot easier to drag out a fight than a conversation. With that being said there is still 4 months to go before the final confrontation begins. Interseting note, they seem to add in whole scenes not include in the manga.
Ok I'm sorry but that flashback just NO. It completely violates Hody's later statement. This is a logical reason for him to hate humans, he lived in fear of being captured by them. But in the manga all we had to go on was that he just heard about the horrible monsters humans were, making him, as Fukaboshi said "a product of his environment" which works for the message Fishman Island was trying to tell in that the hatred had gotten so out of hand that fish men didn't even know what they hated. Thus Fukaboshi's desire for things to "return to zero". But now that doesn't work in the anime cause Hody clearly saw humans acting evil.

The latest episode was ok.
Had some funny moments, but the story REALLY needs to start going somewhere, also the ending was too abrupt.
