I'm excited to see the next one. Let's see Ace & Sabo kick some butt for Luffy

I was absolutely shocked at that. I wonder how One Piece fans who can't stand Naruto one bit feel about that.
Anyway, they definitely made Porchemy more cruel than he was in the manga. This episode pinpointed at one of the things that makes Eiichiro Oda a genius, Luffy will never betray his friends, even if it meant almost getting killed by Porchemy. Definitely a really good episode.
On a side-note, I'm now addicted to the current opening.
I don't think it should matter than Sabo's voice is Naruto's.
I personally didn't care. It's not like Sabo's a ninja who can go nine tails. So it doesn't bother me and it shouldn't really bother anyone else.

The anime is doing a great job with this flashback arc so far. It's a little amusing that Sabo is Naruto, but it doesn't really matter to me. Luffy is such a great character, even letting himself be tortured to protect people who were so mean to him and said they were going to kill him (although obviously that wasn't going to happen).
I'm personally not a fan of flashbacks, I evened skipped this part in the manga, but now that I'm watching it I actually like the story and can't wait for the next.
Great episode it's nice to see how the relationship between Luffy, Ace & Sabo grows in these flash back episodes.

The episode was better this week, although it still feels uneventful.

And Sabo's va is...Naruto's Japanese VA!
No, seriously.

Yeah. I don't think much are gonna give a darn about Seiyuu simply for being from another show.
That being said, the latest episode was some good stuff. Nice to see Sabo's character animated.
good stuff this episode, and a perfectly placed cliffhanger into the next episode, which made me crave for more.
i figured Sabo's va was Naruto's as well. doesn't really affect it in either way for me.
