I'm sorry if this is necroposting but, with season one first voyage out of stock and season two fifth voyage overpriced and with two month delivery on amazon, does anyone else think the voyages will be replaced by these new collection sets?
This actually would make a lot of sense considering how season 4 is still under negotiations, by the time they'll be able to release it, the collections will have caught up.
I'd actually be quite glad if this was the case, because the $35 for 26 episodes idea is great, and would help when we get to the Water Seven/Enies Lobby episodes.
No I think that's a bad idea because we would have to wait a long time to get episode 206- onwards. They have only released 26 episodes in the new box sets for One Piece. If we wait that long to catch up it will be like 3 years of waiting!!!
That's what I was saying. If Funimation hasn't even gotten the rights to the episodes yet, let alone dub and release it, maybe the collections could catch up. They would have to release one every two months though. But maybe the first release of Water 7 may be through the collections.
I'd rather Funi released 206 onwards than to release more collection sets. As I don't plan to splash all my money on Collection Sets whilst waiting for more episodes... I did say I'll buy the first collection to help out, But I don't intend to just keep buying them as soon as they are released, I mean I will buy them in future. I'm more interested in buying 206 onwards.

Yes, we should. After all, it's the biggest convention there is right. Also, didn't Funimation said something about stay tuned for more one piece at an upcoming con? Anime expo should be the one.

Hey, did anyone go to the A-Kon industry panel today? Funimation might have said something about the series there.
Nothing was announced at A-KON, sadly. Anime Expo is in 2 weeks, we may hear something there.
