Re: Okamisan Series Discussion (Possible Spoilers)
I saw an ad for this on the funi site and thought the main character was kind of interesting. So I watched the first episode without expecting much, but I must say that after finishing the show, it was actually pretty good. I liked how much parodying was in the show and something about Okami just kept me watching. I was pleasantly surprised about this one.
But I was wondering, what exactly happened in Okami's past? The anime was a bit vague and I was mainly watching this at night when I was sleepy. Was she actually sexually assaulted?

I believe the subbed version is clearer on this, in that it was a case of sexual assault.
Re: Okamisan Series Discussion (Possible Spoilers)
Her boyfriend at the time (Shirō Hitsujikai - the main bad guy in the story) tried to sexually assault her but failed. He spread rumors about Okami and when she told her friends at school they didn't believe her.
This resulted in Okami-San switching schools and trying to make herself stronger. This also explains why she initially doesn't accept help from anyone and feels it's sometimes hard to trust people who really care about her (Ringo, Ryoshi). She eventually does trust those who mean a lot to her.
Twelve episodes is all there is.
It's a typographical error.
Although there are 24 episodes available on the video service:
12 subbed, 12 dubbed.
